The Rockets picked up three second round picks, which means none of these guys are guaranteed roster spots. That should make for some great competition among their young guys in camp. Its impressive that they picked up Budinger in the second round, because he was a guy that has been thought of as a lottery pick for some time. He put up good numbers at Arizona, but experts didn't think he took his game to the next level like they thought he would. He is a great athlete who should hold his own on defense and in transition, and he is also a better than average shooter for a wingman. Jermaine Taylor is an experienced player from a mediocre Central Florida program. He might be a good scorer that slipped below most people's radars. Llull put up decent numbers in Europe, and is another guy who just might work out. It seems like the Rockets did a very good job of bargain hunting in the second round, and they should get some good return on one or more of these picks.
