Collison and Thornton could be good NBA players, so I don't dislike the players the Hornets selected. However, New Orleans is already stacked in the backcourt, and drafting two more guards doesn't seem to make sense with their lack of big men. Unless some more moves are made to improve their front court, it looks like the Hornets will be moving towards the up-tempo, no defense style that D'Antoni is making popular. It is fun to watch, especially with a guy like Chris Paul running the show, but I don't think it will help New Orleans in the Western Conference standings.
