Ok, he could shake it when he was young, but I wouldn't get him close to a great dancers list. Easily the worst of the six guys on this list (so far)

If Elvis is a dancer, then Mick Jagger is Nureyev. That's not dancing, that's just working the crowd for a reaction. By his own admission, he didn''t know what he was doing, he just let the music move him. Little Richard did everything that Elvis did while at the same time playing the piano and nobody called it dancing.

Somebody's got to help determine the curve. Don't think much of the skills of those guys in the background either.

This entry shows that the list maker has a great sense of humor. There are dancers who don't sing and singers who don't dance...but there are also dancers who can't sing and singers who can't dance. That'd be Elvis. The only dance instruction that he ever got was when he exited stage right and his manager...all excited...asked him, "Didja hear 'em screaming when yah flicked your right knee? Keep on a doin' that!" If you think I'm wrong about this, then after you watch the video here...the one that inspired the character of Herman Munster...go to youtube and search for "George W. Bush dancing". But, then again, neither Elvis or George HAD to dance to get people screaming at them...Yah, Elvis, rest his soul, died with two left feet...Here he is at the peak of his dancing "career". (After watching all of these other real dancers, this video comes with an alert: Caution: Painful Dancing)

I'm not sure that what he did actually qualified as dancing. Bump and grind might be more accurate for the most part.
