Who knows what flashback or stroke of imagination brought on this particular affectation...childhood memories of losing a glove in the snow back in Gary, working out nightmares involving the Hamburger Helper Helping Hand, or simply the joy of seeing his favorite lover in an evening gown.

All I can think of with this listing is the old baseball joke which goes:

never paid much attention to his one glove. many considered this odd. { not me} It has come out that Michael J. had lupus along with the skin disease that caused him problems. a doctor said it is possible if he had lupus way back then it could be a reason why he had a glove on. Just a thought. maybe he liked wearing the glove as wardrobe but maybe he had to cover the signs of lupus. I knew someone who had a bad case of lupus and her skin was very red and "splotchy"

I have sinister thoughts about why the other hand was ungloved.
