Which one? Ok, I know, I know... that's a bad joke. Jackson was indeed good at what he did, but I'm wondering when the deification process is going to end and when all manner of kooks, hypocrites, and sycophants are gonna realize it's ok to end the 24/7 funeral here. The guy had talent, but in my opinion, in the broad field of r&b and soul, he wasn't close to a James Brown, a Jackie Wilson, a Marvin Gaye,a Stevie Wonder, or a Otis Redding...to say nothing of the combination of Jesus, Moses, Buddha, Shakespeare, Lincoln, and Confucius that some hysterically overwrought commentators are viewing him as.
