Smashing Magazine occasionally offers a decent article listing pretty websites with a heavy focus on CSS, but generally speaking they publish supremely mediocre articles that focus on aggregating lots of resources found by other people (sans citation) into one place (in hopes of creating link-bait on twitter or other blogs).

By supremely mediocre, I mean that the writing is awful, and they occasionally create a "study" that's vastly unhelpful, poorly imagined, and incorrectly analyzed and publish the findings as fact. They're sort of on the same level of ask.com.

One of the best resources for designers on the web! Need I say more...
