No contest here. I used to frequent the aol boards/chats but when almost all of my regular boards turned into nothing more than a bunch of mindless teens spouting off and bullying everyone with "intellectual thought" consisting of nothing but, "no, you're stupid and I'm right, so there!" - I stopped visiting. I'm pretty sure I found sanctuary with RIA because of those days.

What twan said. 8-10 years ago it was a different story; but chat rooms have degenerated into a free-for-all for bots and idiots.
Overall, RIA is very well-run.

RIA in an easy victory. Chat rooms are too disorganized, and RIA's filters make it easier to bypass the garbage.
