During the broadcast of the Juno Awards (the Canadian version of the Grammies) a few years back the producers decided to spice up the proceedings by putting unexpected pairings together for presentations.

One such duo was a rap artist and an opera singer presenting the Best Classical Album category and my favourite moment came when the Rapper (I don't recall, nor had I heard of him) read out the nominee "The Four Seasons by Velva-daddy - The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra".

I love both types of music overall. But, if we are talking real R&B (Michael Bolton does not count) I will go with R&B.
Classical is a great way to relax...R&B is great way to remind myself that I am an awesome dancer (sitting down)

I can say that I have an appreciation for just about any kind of music that there is, because I think that to be able to play any kind of an instrument or sing at all is a talent, and I believe it is God given. It just depends on what one decides to do with that talent.

I don't think I could choose between the two of them because there are some in each style of music that I like, and I'm a music person, anyway.
