He looks as if he did ok. The governor of Texas has limited powers so they are mainly showhorses.

The man was re-elected as Governor and as President. The people spoke in both cases and decided that he was doing a good job.

Not only was he a horrendous governor, he's a horrendous president.

weatherdude, I'm sorry about your grandparents, but to characterize their cancer development and unfortunate deaths to something George W. Bush did while in office as Governor of Texas or as President of the United States gives a pass to 535 accomplices (on the federal level, alone!) and assumes a medical corrrectness to the whacko environmentalist lobby that even reknowned medical scientists and physicians are unwilling to subscribe to.

Got to thank you for helping to ensure my Grandparents developed cancer and died, mostly 'cause he helped overturned environmental protection laws that outlawed the use of many carinogenic chemicals, only to expand on that poor legacy in the Oval Office, where he's helped to poison millions of Americans across not just Texas, but the entire nation, helping to poison future generations of citizens across the world with poor domestic, foreign, and economic policies.

In Texas, they execute someone every other week and this is the guy who oversaw a lot of that. Qualifies as a serial killer, in my book. There are people on Death Row in Texas who had alcoholic public defenders as their attorneys in capital cases and this was the guy who oversaw a lot of that. Was almost as dangerous and incompetent a governor as he is a president.
