I gained a lot of respect for Jeff after I started reading his blogs online from the last season of Survivor. The way he writes about some of the Survivors is too good!

Survivor may be losing its touch...but Jeff Probst is still pretty good.

He used to be pretty neutral with his approach but I think his ego and the way he can attack people at the tribal counsels influences the game too much. It's almost like he thinks he's playing the game himself. Way too biased at times.

He was the pioneer of the genre (can reality show hosts be considered a genre?) and paved the way for others, who have surpassed him. Still great to listen to, though.

They couldn't have picked a better host for this show. Probst is a stickler for the rules and a master at knowing what buttons to push and how hard. He doesn't put up with BS, but knows how far to take something without ruining someone's strategy. I was glad that the producers FINALLY realized he was the best person to host the reunion show, too.

Wry, witty and outspoken. The master of tongue-in-cheek jibes and backhanded compliments. Understands human nature and doesn't let anyone get away with anything. The best of the genre.

Without a doubt the best. He always knows exactly how to handle situations, what questions to ask at tribal council, and he does an awesome job at reunion specials, too. He has the toughest job and has it down pat. No one can replace him.
