Very slow, no customer service!!!! Tried to tell me my last years model car was not "new" and did not qualify for "new" parts. Took over 3 weeks to approve a repair for a minor fender bender (<$1500 repair) and then refused to approve new OEM part for my 2008 car. I fought this subject for hours and they just kept talking in circles repeating themselves. I will ABSOLUTELY never go through liberty mutual again!!

Water back up is not covered on ANY home insurance policy unless you add a water back up rider, which many people do not do because it cost more money and they think the insurance company is just trying to jack up the price. It is important to ask these types of protection questions with your local agent. Thats what they are there for. LIberty Mutual is a very good company for home insurance. I have work with this comany in the past and they will pay claims faster than many other companies. The claim has to be covered though.

Have had Liberty Mutual for years and have never had a problem. Had a couple of auto claims and a homeowners claim. Liberty Mutual handled all very professionally and promptly. No one every reads their policies until they need to make a claim and so many people are surprised that their policies don't cover certain things. Liberty Mutual was very good at explaining coverages and in going through the claim process.

We have home insurance with these goof balls. After experiencing a major sewer back-up, it took them days to come out and make their assessment. Then we find out our policy did not cover our furniture items. The policy had recently been rewritten. I am very dissatisfied with how they have handled us.
