Dear Ms Bailey, I am sure you are not interested in my opinion, but you are my rep. I think the ones that put out the bad information about Iraq and Al Qaeda being connected should be punished. One way is to take away their retirement and keep it in the general fund. Ex Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and Douglas Feith comes to mind. I know they won't be tried for war crimes any more than will the President and vice president, but take away their retirement and that will get their attention. Thanks for letting me share my opinion. Just for the record I did vote in the last election. Sincerely, Nelrad

Absurd!

Pathetic performance on 'Meet the Press', putting forth the position that perjury is just a technicality. Not what Republicans said during the Clinton years. No guts or moral fortitude!!!

Maybe. More likely in 2012, unless a Republican wins in '08.

She might run for governor of Texas in two years. The governors mansion is the easiest road to the White House! So Bush's successor will be the sitting governor of Texas, interesting. I've always liked Ms. Hutchinson.

I dont think that we are ready/wanting a female head of state

Interesting pick. Might do very well with moderate voters and will bring new people into the party. However since she's running for Governor of Texas in 2 years, I doubt she'll take the plunge. Her future will be bright if she makes the right moves--definitely a strong and substantive candidate.
