The international side of the airport is very good, while the domestic side could badly use a makeover.

Unlike a lot of airports, they have a pricing policy that forces vendors to keep prices at the equivalent of non-airport vendors. Some attractive art around the place too.

On the downside, if you're a stroppy Polish immigrant with no English skills, airpost security likes to play "Taser the Wog"

A Beautiful city, with a relatively new & still being renovated international airport. The rain does not stop this airport from operating on schedule. If you happen to be in the airport overnight, for some reason or another, there is probably only a handful of places to get food (fast food mostly).

Other than that, try to find a place to sleep or rest while you wait for your early morning flight. At least this airport is maintained fairly well, and still looks new and clean.

Vancouver has a well organized airport. The Pacific Northwest artwork that is scattered throughout the terminals really captures the essence of the region. At least this isn't some boxcutter airport.

Stunningly beautiful, the artwork around the international arrival wing really reflects Canadian values as well as a glimpse into their proud heritage. Affirms the standing of Vancouver as a world class city!
