I listen to sports all day whether on the radio or on tv. Czaban's show is hands down the best thing going!! Not even close!!! Thank you guys for making the mornings thoroughly enjoyable.

Best in the business. I hate it when he takes a day off. Will make me LAUGH OUT LOUD when I'm delivering my papers each morning. I feel kind of guilty getting paid while listening to the Czabe.

Czabe offers original biting commentary for today's smart, if not slightly cynical, sports fan. Definitely blows Mike and Mike away in the entertainment category and is funnier than cow-herd. Doesn't take many callers but hey, maybe that's a good thing. Scott linn also provides a fair amount of entertainment but more importantly keeps Czabe in check with the other side of the argument.

Its refreshing to have a sports guy that can talk his mind and do his own show. Of course he is an ass he is suppose to to get you all relied up. Its better then the scripted, painful, and annoying Mike and Mike in the morning. And atleast he does not discuss one topic all day long like the other shows.

If you dare to disagree with Czaban, you are quickly dismissed as being someone who doesn't know what they're talking about. When it comes to the Redskins, he is the ultimate fair weather fan. His opinions are not worth listening to!

What a jerk and full of himself.
JAK63 08/29/2008
He's pretty knowledgable about sports but can be full of himself at time, he's hungs up on callers who did't agree with him, and can go on some really long tangents on meaningless stuff.

Steve Czaban was on a superbowl special where he equated the John Riggins 70-chip to the Kennedy assassination. Terrible taste. Very poor judgement. It's the typical over-the-top radio show type drama that Steve is so good at. I knew it was a radio announcer and I was in a different room. He's got that typical "put on" voice, and went way too far to equate a sports play with the death of a president.

Czaban is a pretty good sports radio personality. Here in the DC area he can be heard in both the national and local format, and I think he does well in both areas. He is usually funny, and remains pretty knowledgable about most things going on in the sports world. He is not a blowhard, and is able to laugh at himself. He can bore me when he gets heavy into his golf passion, but otherwise he is pretty good to listen to.

really enjoy him. very insightful.

he's an ass

Czabe is the genuine article. He's not being boisterous or contrarian for the sake of ratings. That bit is old, tired, and completely transparent. He has a nice balance for being informative and entertaining. Too many hosts don't get that, like Ben Mallard, who tries to be funny and entertaining but isn't, and adds no informative value to make up for it. Sully is a nice addition as well and is his own person, not an Ed McMahonesque yes man.

The Czabe is a multi dimensional host who really knows sports and other subjects important to guys like playing golf, HDTV and the dynamics of investing in sports. Czabe can really articulate his opinions and I would pit him against anyone in a vocabulary contest. He, his supporting cast and his weekly sports experts are easily the best thing on radio.
Airmj23 08/25/2007
With Tony K not doing this full time, he is simply the best sports talk guy out there.

Hands down the best sports radio personality today. He's for long time sports radio listeners that can easily sniff out frauds like Rome or Cowherd. Doesn't talk all sports to give us sports radio addicts a change of pace, but when he does he sticks to his guns on opinions which is rare today. Only down side is it's on SO EARLY! Keep it up Czabe!

Great, biting commentary. Yeah, sometimes it's over the top, but he seems to do it for the entertainment value, not because he's only about the rant.

Szabe is the funniest sports talk guy on the radio. He knows quite a bit more than Rome about sports and normal guy stuff. He has great sports talk segments and also mixes in insight on everything from HDTV to tips on avoiding chaffing on the golf course.

what a bore...he goes off on totally meaningless tangents. Let's hear some real sports talk, not a pi$$ing contest.
Jeff Fojtik 11/02/2005
Steve Czaban is absolutely, unequivocally a "must listen." The guy is original, insightful and funny as hell. Sometimes I disagree with his opinions, but he has them and he will go out on a limb making them. He actually gets better all the time. No, I am not his wife!

Who says Czaban has a lisp? You must have poor radio reception there, buddy. Anyway, Czabe is great. I think he really represents the "everyman"; the kind of sports radio talk show host that could easily also be your buddy making observations from the couch. At the same time, the man in insightful, articulate, and all-around brilliant.

Czabe has one of the best shows out there. Funny, insightful and he has a crew to back him up that is top notch also. Check him out, you won't be sorry... Rome is overrated.
alpepper 01/12/2005
Middle of the road. Better than Mike&Mike and Dan Patrick but below Bruno, Rome, and JT. Kind of insightful, kind of funny, but he seems more like a local sports talk guy than a guy going national.
jjddjjdd 12/06/2004
I listened to him on a recent vacation...he is amateurish and has a lisp.
