05/22/2006 | I'm sure theres many people in this forum now who've wanted something really badly, wished for it, prayed for it and even envisioned it, but it never came to pass. In the long run it turned out to be a blessing that the very thing you hoped for never happened.

Things happen for a reason and if you don't get something that you want, you're probably better off. You may not see it right away, but it usually works out for the best.

11/09/2005 | garth brooks has a song called unanswered prayers that says it all in explanation. you may not get what you want but see the good in what you did get and would you change it?

11/29/2004 | This is one of those lessons that not everyone learns, but it is important if it has affected your life. I don't know how many years I spent wanting to be a ballerina and wishing to marry a boy band member. Neither of those things happened -- fortunately for me -- and I have to agree, it was a wonderful stroke of luck.
