 | cyclee (18) 04/28/2008 | I wouldn`t call it a birth control, but more like a simple fix for stupid mistakes.

 | MariusQelDroma (36) 09/13/2007 | Abortion is a surgical procedure that takes the life of the fetus. As for the morality of such a procedure, I will leave it to each individual to decide.

 | Redoedo (39) 10/22/2005 | As a practical matter, it is entirely appropriate to promote birth control to kids. However, I can't fathom how anyone can believe abortion is something that should be encouraged. It should only be used as a last resort.

 | echoscot (10) 10/21/2005 | I have to side with most of the posts, here. Abortion is murder. At least in our evolution debate we aren't discussing the rationalization of killing defenseless victims who have no voice. This is clear cut to me. I say this with a good conscience. I have friends who have had abortions. We have talked about it. I do not judge them, but offer them love and acceptance. They need help putting the pieces back together. I am so glad our church offers a place for women who have had abortions to get some help with the depression and problems that follow, and for those who are pregnant and are afraid, they offer help to raise or adopt their child. With classes, free car seats and cribs and blankets and they try to get the father's involved too. They even teach them about run-on sentences. LOL

 | LanceRoxas (40) 03/14/2005 | Im sorry to clue you all in but ABORTION IS BIRTH CONTROL! Just because the abortion industry has successfully sold their euphemisms to the public at large doesn't change the reality of what abortion is- the murder the unborn to control BIRTHS! And why if this is simply just a matter of choice should they be rare in the first place- I mean hell, if it's just a clump of cells what so wrong about continually killing instead of using contraception?

 | traderboy (25) 03/13/2005 | A staunch pro-choice stance is essential to keep one's existence in order, and abortion is simply an option that should be implemented. Not the best option (caution and responsibility should always take top honors), but don't rip out that page and pretend it's not there.

 | Gentle Jude (23) 03/11/2005 | I agree with GoneAway 100%. As soon as the sperm enters the egg and starts growing, a human being has just being created. Even if someone killed the baby after one month in the womb, that is still murder because they are killing something with a spirit in it. Some scientists have come up with the theory that if a baby has been aborted, they can kill the baby and use it's body parts to heal organs. How sick and evil can you get! But if anyone has committed abortion, if they seriously repent, Jesus will cleanse them from all unrighteousness.

 | Skizero (13) 03/10/2005 | absolutely not. abortion is not birth control. the most i'd teach a child about abortion is that it is a legal certainty and that they must be educated about sex and sexual relations to see the harm having an abortion can cause and how there are other ways, should they choose to have sex, to prevent pregnancy. but then again i would hope to have had a safe sex talk prior, b/c contracting HIV would be more detremental than them getting knocked up.

 | barbkaye57 (0) 01/26/2005 | No way. Abortion should be the last resort and ONLY if the mother's life is in danger and that doesn't happen very often in this day and age.
Women who have more than one abortion should be steralized, they should take responsibilty before they get pregnant to prevent it, then they wouldn't have to worry about murdering afterwards.

 | Teaseress (13) 12/04/2004 | Absolutely not. I abhor women who have this approach and seem to think its ok. Its abusing the reason as to why abortion is legal and I'm surprised that the two doctors who have to decide whether the woman can have the abortion would give it the go ahead.

 | Aurielle (18) 12/02/2004 | Absolutely not. Prevention is the key, not destruction, although I understand in cases involving incest and/or possible HIV infection, abortion is a common route.
