This man's religion destroyed my mom, my family and my mom died of cancer because of this preaching. Back in the 80s, my mother went to House of Glory in Tinley Park- I was a preadolescent at the time. She was told that the devil was inside my stereo (Michael Jackson was popular then), my movies, and even inside of me. If I didn't agree with the bizarre religious bull crap that she was listening to, she would say, "Shut up, Satan." She would then try to cast the devil out of me, by beating me and placing her hands on my head. This church scared me. I heard them speak in tongues, even my mother. It creeped me out. Pastor Robb told my dad that since he wouldn't go to church with my mother nor believe Pastor Robb's preaching, the church did not recognize their marriage. Robb then proceeded to tell my dad that my mom was "spiritually married" to whoever gave her the Holy Spirit. Guess who that was? My mother had an affair with Robb. Apparently, this was common, as the Touch of ... Read more

Robb Thompson calls himself Doctor Thompson on national television. Thompson NEVER attended college, and has a phony internet doctorate, lieing to try to give himself credibility. Thompson is no scholar of anything except deception, fraud, and developing a cult. How insecure and deceptive a person is to have to lie and call himself Dr. with a phony PHD (post hole digger) He is no pastor but rather just a self appointed platform narcisist craving the limelight, ripping off people to keep his millionaire by offering money lifestyle. Thompson is like the evil steward Jesus tells about in Luke 16, using the Lords offering money for his own bad stewardship and extravagance. Jesus said in Luke 16 IF YOU CANNOT BE trusted to be a good steward with money than YOU CANNOT be trusted with the more important things Gods word, ministry and Gospel. Thompson's heart is in his spending as he bragged about his $5,000 suits, $1,000 plus boots, and extravagant spending from the stage. He display... Read more

Use to love his bible teaching then one day right before the election of Pres. Obama he spent the entire time downing this President instead of teaching the bible. He made it clear he could not tell anyone who to vote for but by his negative criticisms of Democrats/Candidate Obama he may very well have swayed someone. I am a firm believer in sticking to the bible and letting the Holy Spirit do the convicting of any wrongs. Too bad Pastor Robb did not see the bible verse that said "Let whoever is without sin cast the first stone". Jesus did not speak out against the Roman Governmental authorities, he did however speak out against the Religious hypocrites and other Religious tyrants of his day! I'm sure Jesus who they called a friend of sinners and Tax Collectors would have offended some religious leaders of this day too if he were walking around on the earth now.

Ah the holy necromancer Robb Thompson.pastor of Family Wallet Harvest! The theif comes to ROBB, kill, and destroy by wrapping your free heart in barb wire. The problem is topical teaching. Robb uses topical teaching to control people.if you read whole epistles in one sitting you can see he is way off. but if you cherry pick scriptures out of context he makes perfect sense.if you slowly read the book of galatians you will see that robb thompson switched from being the one who gets gentiles saved and set free to the one who holds them in bondage to jewish law. robb thompson is a modern day pharasee white washed tomb. a gnostic along with mike murdock and john anvanzini.they hold you prisoner to what they call higher knowledge which is no gospel at all.since family wallet harvest does not preach the gospel we first heard, we let them be accursed..acts 8:18 teaches we cant buy God.Robb teaches that you can. the reason they preach the money gospel is to drive away the poor because silver and... My wife was there in the early days in the Crestwood warehouse , the House of Glory with the kids. I attended only occasionally, something seemed a little phony about him to me. Once the "palace" was built in Orland the feeling lingered. I finally gave in and attended services for some time. I have to admit he is a gifted speaker. Some years ago we moved from the area and are no longer able to attend. Recently I did a search on the Internet to see how things were going there. I was taken back how prominent he has made his name in the church, seeming to me, more important than the name of God. He seems to have gotten caught up in the glitz and lights of a "show man" rather than a shepherd of his flock. I wonder too why isn't he open to disclosure of the funds the Church takes in. There's nothing, as far as I'm concerned, that says a Pastor has to live a life of frugality. He has changed from the simple, caring person I came to admire at first to someone is really caught up in himself. To... Read more

Robb Thompson is bad news. I went to his church for 3 years and I have been saved for over 20 years. When I went for counseling and help Mr. Friend prayed with me to become a reborn christian. I felt embarressed and very sad that they would not help me out when I needed it the most. Maybe their prayer team is good but Thompson is least to be desired.

Pastor Robb is a phenomenal teacher!!! I was looking up some information on leadership and leaders when I came across this website. I couldn’t pass it up without making some kind of comment. I was just reading over some of your reviews and you all are pretty pathetic. There are some people that are consumed with money, probably because they don’t have any. Others of you can’t figure out in the word of God for yourself if you should love your spouse. So, you need someone else to tell you that? Those people didn’t need to get devoice from their spouses, their spouses needed to devoice them for being so slow. Some people ask questions so when they HALF do what the person encouraged them to do they can have someone else to blame. If you ask someone for advice the minute you decide to act on that advice you own it! You CHOOSE to act on it then YOU own it! Get over yourselves and grow up. If you truly want to know God, go to church, READ your bible, sit at GOD’S feet and stop making someon... Read more

Robb Thompson is an excellent Bible Scholar! If you actually read the Bible for a change, that would be apparent to you. The truth is, Pastor Robb is a man of God. Your online name says you amazingly believe you are going to Heaven, but God's Commandment warns: "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor." That's lies and slander! Trashing God's servant certainly won't earn you a place in Heaven! I read all these websites created by people like yourself who claim they're actually "Ministries". You do it because: 1) Most of you are actually atheists and/or agnostics; 2) Most of you who claim you are supposedly "Christian Ministries" do it to avoid paying taxes. However, our new Socialist President has your number. Rest assured, one day very soon, his Government employees will hunt all you tax evaders down on the internet and ensure you are finally paying your back taxes; 3) Those of you who trash genuine Christian Ministries do Satan's work for him, h... Pastor Robb once said during a sermon that GOD, The one who knows the end from the beginning, Who knows all things, and who also, according to the scriptures, knows the hearts of all men, Does not know our hearts. When I emailed him for more clarity on what he had preached he sent me a response that basically amounted to him telling me don't waste my time, who are you to question me.

What is failed to be mentioned is that they BRAGG about thier small efficiant staff, but don't tell people that they are under paid, serverly over worked stretched out to the MAX and that families and marriages suffer for it. People who get married don't even have the t ime or money to start having families due to the life stealing of this "church", WHILE He lives RICH and MIGHTY. They withhold good from those that it is DUE! They manipulate scriptures to suit their needs and control people with faith and servanthood. They BREAK the VERY Spirit of those who had hearts for God.PRT claims he deserves to get paid 2X what the ghiest person there gets paid, and manipulates scripture for that too. He makes a HUGE salary and others can't get raises and if they do they are scrutinized and then given pennies. AND They are NEVER WRONG so don't confront them, they will w in no matter what. You are always wrong, misunderstood, or precieving things wrong.

Easy to see who has love and who is serving the devil...again "who is the accuser of the brethren". We will ALL one day stand in front of Jesus and He ask us "did you learn to love?" Sadly, the words of some are like weapons. Judas, you have  a great many people that thought they were part of the fold! Jesus said there is one requirement...Hmmm judge your neighbor? No...stand in judgement for I am the Righteous Judge? NO! Love your enemies as you love yourself. Tall order? YES!! And yet for the grace of God we ALL fail! ALL FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY of GOD. If you were to ask a Pharisee, he surely thought he was qualified to be judge and jury. A brood of vipers!Let's see...fruit of the Spirit....could it be backbiting? How about launching fiery darts?I seem to recall in Phillipians regarding "whatever is lovely, whatever is of GOOD report? This is ugly rumor mongering. By Christians no less! God is NOT mocked! One of Robb's homes, a townhouse at 9322 Sutter Drive in Tinley Park that he bought for his mother awhile back, was auctioned by the government because of unpaid property taxes. It was in one of the local Chicago papers. He's apparently too busy galavating to exotic ports of call (HK, Singapore, etc) to pay his taxes. This is no surprise, as he is by his own admission a tax cheat, having defrauded the IRS of money in the past. So just add the government to the long list of people Robb screws.

There is much to be said for people who get past just the pulpit preaching and actually get behind the closed doors and see what REALLY goes on, most don't get that chance and the ones who keep quiet are the ones who stay there for thier bread and butter. Those who leave take the truth with them...I have been there, and seen the contrast in the pulpit and the personal and private. Who can deny that? I have seen the counterdictions, the misuse of scripture for personal profit, and manipulations of scripture to benefit the buisness of FHC. So go ahead, no one can stop those who believe as they will. God tells us not to touch God's annointed, but then again, beware of the wolf in sheeps clothing as well. We can judge what God has already judged. Money, and Looks ARE very important to FHC and I spent MANY years there I seen enough to make me question MANY of thier practices. I listen To Robb Thompson regularly. I like him. I think he understands human nature and is led by God. Yes, he does have wear expensive clothing but so do many people. As far as being in a mental institution, he talks about it and that is what makes me draw closer to him because he knows what it is like.. All I can say about the boob job is buy me a ticket and I'm there.. I would like a double dose of what is being handed out, if that is the case.

Whats this...Doctor Robb? I was a member of the church long ago when Robb was driving a UPS truck. Now he has a doctorate? Where can I buy that diploma? Gifted speaker with incredible command of scripture...does not make him right...does not make him wrong. If your not willing to drink from the proverbial kool-aid jar and check what your prayerful creator given intellect reveals to you...you may need to go elsewhere. Stop doubting yourself and engage the magnificant brain G_d gave you to discern the Tares from the Wheat.

He teaches disimulate love at best and coerces money and time from his people.after they learn his good teachings he stops them from appliing these teachings by controlling them into only working and going to church. he hates animals, pets and hobbies. once I saw my personal projects excelled but simalar projects at church were held down by fear and politics, we left.it is a shame that we had to get away from him to have enough fredom to excell in life..

I have lost a good friend to his cult. She has to hide Harry Potter books from visitors and drive an hour out of town to see certain movies. They want to pay her to get a boob job and go to a tanning bed so she represents the church better. He tells her that if her faith is strong enough she will have boys for children, which of course means that if she does have a girl her faith is weak, it has nothing to do with genetics. Everything I can tell about this man tells me he is a con-artist, and based on what I have read here, there are plenty of people who have been conned. God is not in a man in $5000 suits who acts like a dictator over the people working for him. He is a snake-oil salesman. Nothing more.

Brrr...r...! Its so good and cold here. At last I found people who have their heads. If you are looking for the truth I am with you. Your pastor is very prosperous man. Good! Is it not annoying when poorest of the house teach us how to live well? Have a funny picture: a famous speaker few long hours talks about his great possessions and at the end begs us for money. Who is rich here? That one who asks, or they who give? How we can trust doctors who are sick themseleves? They write prescriptions for our pains, but dont know which medicine to take for theirs. " Oh! I have a degree! I have a degree!" Show us God's signature on your diploma. Otherwise, It's worth nothing in a spiritual arena. We need real leaders who were sick and healed themeselves, who were on the bottom and went all the way to the top. So many in the faith unfortunately are still in the stone age when it comes to business. We don't know how to excel, make intelligent business decsions and move toward advancement. We are put off by exellance and are afraid of material rewards. As if God, will send us straight to hell if we aren't living in a shack, living beneath our potential and trying to make ends meet. My parents suffered without money, and early on in my life I did too, poverty is not a gift from God it doesn't make you holier or more spiritual. It just makes you poor. Learning honest ways to advance financially have made my life better. I can tithe, help my family, help others in a bind and I'm not stressed about how I'm going to make it through the week. If I live in surplus and honor God with that surplus and help people with that surplus, I think it is a good thing. I don't love money, but I use it to help advance the work of the kingdom, help my self - yes and treat myself, help my family and friends, and wh... Read more

I attended Pastors Robbs church for 16 plus years and am extremely thankful for his teachings, as I don't even recognize my life today. Yes, he did teach me to honor God's word and tithe, and I tithed my way right off of public aid to now making well over 100,000 dollars a year including benefits. This doesn't include the many, many blessings that have over taken my life, including my 300k plus new built home, the peace, faith and hope that charges my future. He is genuine and the problem maybe that you can't recognize genuine. I once witness him pay 30k plus to a builder it was not due because he was more concerned with his soul and he trusted God to meet his financial needs. I won't be labor this but the responsibility to do the Word and reap the benefits of it falls on the individual. Pastor Robb can teach you but if you have a critical eye, a jealous heart and choose to tear him down for living the life he's been blessed with, you will never see the benefits of God in your own l... Doing drugs?  This is not a question- it's a FACT!  The insiders suspect it--some even KNOW about it.  Someday he'll be in the news!  Just look at the facial pock marks, listen to his mixed thoughts, and watch his wife's erradic giddiness.  What's up with that?  He gives money to people to "bail them out" to get control over them -- he's then the hero.  Just ask him- he'll tell you all about it.  He'll even help you too.

Mature Christians do not defend false teachers and heretics. They are to mark and avoid false teachers (Rom. 16:17). They are to reject heretics (Titus 1: 13), those who lay error alongside truth by secretly introducing destructive heresies (2 Pet. 2:1). Christians are to be light and salt by telling the truth, thus we are to point out who heretics are by name so that people will not listen to them just as the prophets and Apostles did (Lev. 10:1-2; Num. 16; 1 Kings 22:11, 24-25; Jer. 28:15-17, 29:31-32; Eze. 8:8-11, 11:1-13; Matt. 23; 1 Tim. 1:19-20; 2 Tim. 4:14; Gal. 2:11-13; 3 John 9-10; Rev. 2:20, etc.). Christians are told by the Holy Spirit in the Bible, through John, that if we love the Lord we will demonstrate that by obeying His commands (1 John 3:24; 5:3; John 15:10, etc.). One of the often repeated commands of the Lord is to get away from false teachers and false prophets (1Co 5:11-13; 1 John 4:1, Rev. 18:4; Rom. 16:17; Titus 1: 13; Eph. 5:11; 2 Thes. 3:6; 2 Tim. 3:5,7; ... I was part of this organization for almost ten years. I WAS in the "inner circle" as they call it and I can testify that this man and his team are definitely phonies and scam artists. When I wanted to leave this church with my family, they personally counseled my wife to leave me. I know at least 25 other couples where this exact thing happened to them. Unfortunately, many are now divorced. How can you preach "the Gospel" one day and counsel a wife to leave her husband the next day simply because he wants to worship elsewhere? Makes no sense to me, and as far as I'm concerned, if Robb Thompson ever gets to heaven at all, he will have Hell to pay for the marriages and the families he destroyed while here on earth. Personally, I believe this man is a lost soul. The Bible warns us of False Prophets and False Teachers, and Robb Thompson fits the bill perfectly. He is a egotistical show-off. A braggard. A womanizer. An adulterer. A liar. A thief. And a phoney. False te... Read more

A master networker, Thompson has allied himself with other scam-artists, like Mike Murdock, John Avanzini, and one of the greatest charlatans of the century, Kenneth Jokeland (Copeland). Robb Thompson promulgates a liturgy of bullcrap. He will one day abandon the cash cow and split for some exotic location, leaving the "faithful" to comment on how he is "blessed". Dr. Thompson is a great man. I became a christian 7 years ago and he was the first man who treated me like a son. The things some of you are saying is very disrespectful. You are talking about someone's father, husband, and Pastor. The words that you are speaking about the man of God will cause a curse to come on you and your family. It is one thing to think those thoughts, but to say them so others can read them is disasterous on the name of Christ. Unbelievers read these things all the time and the man who lives on your block will not be saved because he is thinking that YOUR pastor is the same as the words you have spoken about Dr.Thompson.

I think Pastor Robb is very talented and smart. I will never say anything bad about a man of God. But some of the doctrine I question. Especially when someone says I have to speak in tongues to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Tongues is not going to get me to Heaven. Also when you become saved you are filled with the Holy Spirit right then and there. Too much Christianity is "going through the motions and focusing too much on emotions" these days.

I was a member of Midwest Christian Ctr when there were about a 100 members meeting in a storage building in Crestwood, IL; left, then came back at 400; then, left permanently in 95 when it was about 2,000 at the current location. I don't recall him obtaining formal education beyond High School. Notwithstanding the lack of formal training, the guy is a gifted orator...if not a dedicated esoteric in the new-age traditions that he and other notable "faith-word" bible teachers follow. To whom much is given...much is required. So a dose of moderation on the condemnations just might be in order. All motives will be tested by G_ds purifying fire...how much more so for the various teachers of righteousness. The rest of you are making comments without knowing them first hand. I've been going to Family Harvest for over five years. If it was a "Cult" or if there was "brainwashing" I think I'd know. Considering that's why my mom left cause she felt the same way. That's sicking. You feel so free to bash, a man of GOD no less, yet you're not even looking in the mirror at yourselves. Also, it's a shame that most of you focus more on what Pastor Robb wears and drives more than the Word of God. Is that why we go to church now? To judge the man of God. Read your Bible, anyone who bashed the man of God got killed. Oh, and for those who look at the money more than the Word, Jesus got gold as gifts. The only people you need to be concerned about is yourselves. Oh, and for the ones who are so "spiritual" that you know the Word better than anyone else, ho... Read more

I Thank God for the teaching ministry of Pastor Robb Thompson. I have personally ordered two tape series of Pastor Robb and they have been a tremendous blessing! His ministry website is www.winninginlife.org Don't take my opinion or any one else's negative perception as truth. Pray to God for His truth and believe that He will reveal the truth to you! God Bless, Mike

There are two messages being taught in the church today. One is man's interpretation and the other is God's revelation. One is the narrow path that leads to life and the other is the broad path that leads to death. The worldly message that Robb Thompson teaches is man's interpretation. The focus is on obtaining worldly things. The result is greed, self-indulgence and every kind of evil. I attended this man's church for two years. I was a new Christian when I started, but I studied the Word of God every day and eventually saw that the message he taught was not scripturally sound. The focus of those who follow after Jesus should not be on the things this world offers ... 1 John 2:15-17 Stop loving this evil world and all that it offers you, for when you love the world, you show that you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only the lust for physical pleasure, the lust for everything we see, and pride in our possessions. These are not from the Father. They... Read more
