I have used Lady Esther for over 40 years. The new formula is absolutely disgusting. I can no longer us it. It was the only thing I could use to take off eye makeup that would not irritate my eyes and face. The new formula stings and smells like something that came out of the oil change shop. The smell is nauseating and the texture is oily. I hope the manufacturer reads these messages...I can't seem to find them to find out what happened to this once wonderful product. What a loss.

Lady Esther 4 purpose face crm. has been used by my grandma since 1913 and my mom [93 y/o] since she was a teen and I have used it since I was a teen!!! We agree completely with CRIMSON HAWK that the loss of the TRADEMARK perfect scent of it has always been just the right scent of cleanliness to begin and end our days! and speaking for myself-I have NEVER-YES -NEVER used any makeup, except lipstick and eye makeup and a dust of powder to my nose. The medicinal ODOR IS AWFUL and not a bit pleasing to our 'sniffers'!!!!! Please fix this deletion in our ONLY face cream-your [up to this time], loyal fans.NO PAINTED LADY

The smell and the texture of Lady Esther Face Cream has been changed. The jars I have tried in stores no longer have the beautiful fragrance I have known and loved for over 50 years and the feel is now more like ointment than cream. Can it be found anywhere as it used to be made? In the past I would rate it 5 stars!
