No. The coffee flavored Monster energy drinks are good? But. This one? No. I'm not sure exactly what makes Red Bull so much more appealing to me than Monster, but. No. Maybe it's the fact that Monster tastes sweeter to me. Or the fact that it's 'smooth'... which SHOULD be a good thing, buuuut... No. Red Bull is better than Monster by a landslide. hey hey hey hey hey i just drankk like 2 of these these are great drinks my faverite is the mixxd, but i highly enjoy every singel one of them, theyre are strong and realy great tasting cept they make me pee like a racist horse but hey the excercise of walking to and from the bathroom is good right?

this 'drink' made me sick. they flavor alone could send someone to the morgue! its the worst drink iv ever tasted! i threw it away after one sip. I suggest for people who would NOT like to be sick dont get this drink!

Monster has a unique kick to it and is perfect for those who need to do grueling work or studying until the waning morning hours. It's an acquired taste, unless you happen to like corn syrup flavor mixed with a hint of caramel over tangy ingredients. After having drank much soda in my late teen and early twenty years, I have built up a high tolerance for caffeine, being able to drink 1 liter of coke and still managing to sleep. I relied on Monster to get me through the later years of college due to the amount of caffeine packed in. It will probably assist me whenever I go back for graduate school as well. I tend not to drink too much of it because it is overloaded with caffeine and it will keep you up (I just finished one tonight, and it's going on 3:00 but feels like afternoon tea time is approaching). The first time I ever tried a green Monster, I hated it. I barely made it through the whole can. A year later, and I decided to give it another try. I loved it. I'm not sure why I liked it all of a sudden, but all I know is that I have been drinking it since then. My only problem with it is that sometimes it makes me feel lightheaded and shaky. This is usually only when I drink it on an empty stomach though. If this happens, just eat some food, and it will go away.

this drink does taste good and give you some energy and can keep you awake but it does make you jittery if you drink more than 2cans

if you're a normal human being this energy drink is not for you. however if you're malnourished. injest primarily cigarettes. and gummy bears. then yes. yes.

Monster is the epitome of an energy drink. Excellent boost that hits you fairly quick, good taste and priced fairly. Beats it's competitor Red Bull but a small margin due to the larger sized can. For you drunks, this can also mix well with many hard liquors.

I actually like the taste, believe it or not. But I can't drink it. It keeps awake at night, staring at the ceiling, no matter what time I drink it. I always think of the movie "Role Models" when I see people drinking it, and the guy who defends its nutritional value ("But it has vitamins!"). Don't believe the hype. There's no way this stuff is good for you. I'm pretty sure you could run your car with this stuff.

I'll pass on this can full of starburst with a tablespoon of carbonated water. I'd rather not eat my energy drink thank you. I tried to choke the thing down, but on a hot day, it wasn't exactly thurst quenching. I ended up pouring over half the can out, knowing it would take me five days to finish the damn thing. And with that, I would never know how much energy it could even provide. Yuck.

This gives you a caffiene high like no other. I love it so much it is practically orgasmic. The taste is something to get used to but it is pretty good once you get used to it. I could chug these all night long and then some <3

It is so disgusting. It is so bad for you, even if you are an adult. It has way to much caffine and sugar and it,s just down right nasty. And for people who think it's cool to drink monster, THINK AGAIN DUDES! If you guys who like monster want to get so sick and feel awful and maybe even die, not my problem.

I used to like this drink , but as I got older the taste got unbearable for me. It does do what it is supposed to do though, it gives you a buzz with just one can, if you chugg it down really fast . Overall this drink is highly overrated and expensive. If you want real energy drink get Rip-it , it taste great and it is cheap. Or you can try BAWLS another great Drink. But please dont buy this crap. The reason I gave it 2 stars is because it packs a nice buzz.

I just tried Monster for the first time today, and it's downright disgusting. It tastes like a slightly carbonated melted blow-pop or jolly rancher (green apple mixed with watermelon if anyone's curious) which may have been fine when I was 7, but I also wasn't allowed to drink caffeine at such a tender age, so I can't imagine that's their audience unless parents are insane these days. Dunno if I'll even make it through this drink despite the fact that I'm a total caffeine addict. Stay away from Monster unless you happen to like super-sweet, mouth-coating and syrupy flavored beverages.

Regular monster is probably one of the most well known energy drinks. I wouldn't call it the best, but with good taste, energy, and distribution it's up there.

The best energy drink on the market, great taste, easy to drink and gives a great boost in energy. If you find the Monster Green too sweet try the Lo-Carb version, it get's the job done without all the sugar.

From Monster staff, "The caffeine content in Lo-Carb Monster Energy is 135 milligrams of caffeine per 16 oz can. All other products in the Monster Energy line contain 160 milligrams of caffeine per 16 ounce can. The amount of Guarana in the Energy Blend is proprietary information." Proprietary my butt. What you mean is that there isn't much Guarana at all compared to the other drinks. Sobe shows on the label that it has 174mg caffeine and 100mg guarana per 16oz can. It seems that Monster is nothing more than a big shot of sugar in what they call their "energy blend". Truly a placebo.

I think Monster Lo Carb is one of the best beverages on the market regardless of type (energy drink, pop, flavored water etc.) It has an excellent flavor with a clean finish and the energy rush is a solid one ... not creating jitters or nervousness. The best attribute of this stuff, and others can comment on this if they like, is you actually FEEL better after taking it. I think this drink is great and I hope Hansen drinks, who makes this stuff, never sells out to the big guys. The fact that this stuff is loaded with B vitamins should not be a surprise as Hansens old focus was vitamins and supplements. This is a phenomenal drink and I give it a 5/5.

Yeah it tastes good and gives a decent buzz and you get 16 oz for 2 bucks not a bad deal if you ask me, its my personal favorite energy drink I think. It just tastes awesome.
