The rare, and now nearly non-existent, rich kid in the military. I liked this character because he gave some balance to the blue collar grunts he served with. He was also very intelligent, yet had a definite weakness - alcoholism. This gave him a more human-like quality and also lent some needed levity to Maj. Winters when he needed it most.

Great man, as inteligence officer i think he's done his part in combat by doing the plans in combat, doing report, doing maps and plans on where and when the easy company is going to execute the next combat. Well as an actor (Ron Livingston) he's done a great part also portraying Capt. Lewis Nixon. Their physical resemblance also are close, the face the haircut as iv'e seen on the video diary of ron livingston in BOB dvd special features. 5 stars for this actor.

Cool guy but the beneficiary of special treatment being a rich kid. He did put up with all the crap everyone else did but didnt actually go into combat like they did.
