This has happened to me too, and more recently. My student aide asked me if I was into fads, and I said "Not really. Why?" She then pointed out that my shirt was inside out, with the tag size showing behind my neck. The students who saw this were snickering as I had to step outside the classroom and quickly put it on right side up. I was blushing from embarrassment over this episode.

I got together with my friend for a coffee and it looked like she wore her blouse inside out. I didn't want to say anything at first, but thought that this comingfrom me will sound better than from a stranger.

Good reason not to get dressed in the dark.

Especially when you find out that you've been wearing something like that all day long.

Haven't really done this but have had a dryer sheet show up in a sweatshirt sleeve and decide to come out in public!

Eh, could be. Not as embarassing as having your clothes fall to expose yourself. In my drama class back in high school, there was this group of guys doing a skit to music, and at one point this kid was to be dragged off stage by two of his friends. Well, fashion is cruel, and having one's pants hang down to expose 3 inches or so of boxer shorts was in, and apparently it got caught on something and his pants pulled COMPLETELY down. True to theater, the guy kept in character and didn't move (either that, or he was too mortified to move, but anyway), and his two comrades tried desperately to yank his pants back up as they drew him offstage. THAT is embarassment!
