Its tough to get animals to wear clothes. Personally I think its kind of ridiculous when I see an dog wearing a shirt, but an opinionated dog shirt would be entertaining. (not as much as the 'opinionated' thong however!)

Thanks muchly Iggy. But you know, try as I might I cannot get my dogs to like clothes. I was so thrilled to find a King costume for the older one once around Halloween. It came complete with a crown, scepter, a cape and little ankle dealies with fake ermine fur. I think I really humiliated the poor guy the one time I managed to get it all on him. He certainly wasn't willing to pose for photos. Sadly, that costume ended up going to a friend with a more sedate, yet theatrically minded pooch. All that's left in the K-9 wardrobe department now are two college doggie T's. Every now and then I regress, pull them out and put them on the dogs. With the most tolerent look they can manage they just sit and stare at me until I take them back off and sheepishly put them away.

I know I'm going to regret publisizing this but yes, I'm one of those dog owners who buys his dog Christmas presents and have her dress up as Mrs. Clause when we go to the dog run around Christmas. To me, this shirt is just another great thing to add to her wardrobe. Lord knows she's opinionated- she let's us know what she thinks when we take her to the vet!

I have no dog; just a cat -- and I highly doubt she'd want to wear the thing.

I know some people are gonna hate me for this, but no, no, NO, I don't think dogs should EVER have to wear clothing! If you like it, go for it, but I'm gonna have to vote 1 for this. Yuck.
