Let me start this off by saying that I seem to be the greater sufferer of razor burn. Now upon buying this product, thinking at first it was some fandangled electric "personal shaver," I was first disappointed. Having then read the promises on back of the package, I again became excited. No more razor burn and no more cuts??? I couldn't believe it, these are by far my worst enemies when it comes to daily heygiene. Upon trying it as soon as I got into the shower, even being careful and using sensitive skin shave cream, loe and behold I cut myself three times! It wasn't even as smooth as I would have liked. I must say however, in regards to shaving down south, using Bikini Zone shave gel and said arch nemesis of my newly cut legs, this razor does hold a promising tribute to the fight against bikini burn and embarrassing shave bumps of the all too familiar kind.

I decided to try the silk effects razor, I found that it didn't shave as close as my previous razor and was rather disappointed. I probably will not purchase this product again.

I have been using the silk effects for nearly 10 years and was completely satisfied. When i went to pick a pack of razors recently and saw the 'plus' i was skeptical.. I tried the new razor and i tore my legs up to shreds not exagerating. Cant you offer the old style as well as the new style? Im lost with out the purple razor!! your new one is HORRIBLE!!!! Adding wierd gue to the razor is not a good idea.. GIVE ME BACK MY RAZOR!!!!!! i bought a walmart brand razor and it works better then your 'plus' thing.earthmamacheney@hotmail.com

I highly recommend this as a first razor for young teens just starting to shave. I used this for about four years and you rarely get nicks due to the guard wires. It provides a pretty close shave, but it could be better. If your hair tends to grow back fairly quickly, you might want to look somewhere else, but otherwise I would recommend this if you would like a twin blade razor. I have since moved on to using a triple blade disposable.

I have only used disposable razors and I bought this and I love it.

i bought silk effects plus 6 mths ago and i must say that i was pretty pleased. i haven't cut myself once and i don't have to shave as often. the razor was rather inexpensive and i got a bunch of extra blades with it. the blades last a long time too. try one!
