 | X Factor Z (13) 04/03/2007 | I like playing poker, the one thing I hate is watching people play poker on TV, that is like going to Las Vegas and what, just sitting around a casino and watch people play slots? How boring is that? I'd rather play the game, on a computer or with real people.

 | Djahuti (54) 05/09/2006 | One of the few games I actually enjoy playing. The combination of bluffing, skill, luck and wagering keeps it interesting. It's a great way to get to know people, too.

 | GenghisTheHun (168) 07/15/2005 | What can I say. These morons who think Holdem is a game should play regular poker.
They would walk away wearing a barrel.

 | geog84 (11) 02/10/2005 | Way overrated, and too much of luck as a factor

 | ClassicTVFan47 (36) 09/24/2004 | Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! And, even worse ESPN airs hours and hours of this dreck while IOC-sanctioned tournaments of exciting and upbeat sports like Badminton and Field Hockey don't get any airtime! It's a travesty and Poker should certaintly not be aired on TV anywhere!!!!

 | LoneUSFullHouseFan (3) 06/14/2004 | It used to be that this game was seen as a magnet for backstabbers and con artists. Players would have to constantly worry about getting stifed, and it's association with the days of the wild west probably did not help. But the reputation of the game seems to have changed. Now we have the World Poker Tour on the Travel Channel, and the World Series of Poker on ESPN. It has become alot more respected now. My grandfather tought me how to play, and every time I pick up a deck of cards, I think of him.

 | Redoedo (39) 03/19/2004 | I realize the Poker is probably one of the most popular card games around, but I truly have never found it very enjoyable. It typically serves as something of a warmup for me before playing other games. It is heavily based on luck, and gets quite boring for me after a few rounds.

 | kamylienne (77) 04/07/2003 | Can be a lot of fun with the right people playing . . . . It's fairly easy-to-learn. Most of it is luck.
