Invader Zim is the best cartoon ever!!! Gir is the best and my favorite character! It's perfectly evil and dark and violent! I definately miss it, they need to bring it back.

Invader Zim is indeed a great show. The animation is very good but you would have to be stoned off your ass to say its not. So far, evryone knows that Gir is the best character but I would have to say that Zim is. The reason for that is simply because he is all out evil and cool. Most of you think IZ has been cancelled forever. Well, it is on the Nick Toons channel now but you have to have a cable box that gives a lot of channels to be able to watch it. Otherwise, IZ is out on dvd and an action figure line is out too. But I've just recently found out the IZ action figure line has been discontinued due to the fact that Palisades (company that makes them) has sold their company rights to another company and is going out of business. So back to the show. The shows darkness and violence people sometimes complain about. Well, I personaly think that a violent and dark attitude gave the show a amount of respect to the loyal Invader Zim fans. Heck, whats wrong with violence in shows. Invader Zim is just a cool fictional cartoon you know and the people that think IZ is too violent are lame people that need to go jump off a cliff or something. Anyways, for the IZ fan I'd say go out and get the dvds and action figures while their still avilable.

I think that this is the worse nicktoon that Nickelodeon has ever had.That why it's the shortest-lived.The animation was absolutely HORRIBLE!!!The show was completey heartless and evil.The violence was WAY too graphic.And Zim was the most EVIL cartoon character I have ever seen!!!I don't have too many good things to say about this show.Basically I have forgotten it.I suggest anyone who has any sense to do the same.

This is without doubt the best cartoon in years! Absolutely classic!

This was a really good show, despite it being dark at times. There were 3 main reasons why it got cancelled. 1. Nickelodeon's shows are all about talking sponges and babies, magical fairies and people from All That. Jhonen Vasquez wamted to create a show that was more mature than Nick's 7-10 year old age group. 2. Nick kept changing the times on the show, so that fans of it didn't know what time it was on, therefore giving it lower ratings. 3. One mother had a son who liked the show and had Jhonen Vasquez comic books. She read one of them and was horrified with what she saw. She sent a letter to Nick asking them to cancel the show and started a little movement against Invader Zim. I say that if Nick doesn't want it anymore, give it to Cartoon Network because I want it on again!

Good show but it was a little too dark. It was very funny and original, plus it had a lot of funny characters and good plots. I like Spongebob too and I hate it when some people who like this show diss on it.

Invader Zim is officially my favorite show! You can tell they put a lot of effort into this. The animation's simplistic, yet beautifully done (at least, compared to some of Nick's other shows), the colors vivid, and most of all, it's just plain hilarious. Some people don't like it because it's creepy or whatever,or it's a 'bad influence' but foo on them. Anything's only a bad influence if your children were isolated from the world all their life, and then were exposed to this. I mean, come on. Your daughter's not gonna stalk someone until they give her her game boy. And then send them crashing to their deaths on an elevator. Hopefully. Yeah. Back to the review. It has a deep plot compared to most other cartoons, where you're with the bad guy instead of the hero, and the heroes are the villains and the villains are the heroes and stuff. I mean. You don't wanna see poor Zimmy's squeedilyspooch strewn out on an autopsy table, do you? I give this a 5/5. Invader Zim did have its icky moments, but it's still great.

Started of as a good show, but now mostly seen as more of a gothic icon more than anything.

This show totally has me hooked. And why not? You have the alien with the over inflated ego. Hes rejected from the rest of his race mostly because hes one of the smallest, literaly on the hierarchy chain. (Since its done by height) So when the leaders give him 'a special mission' to try to get rid of him, hes off to space to go to take over the 'mystery planet' which brings us to earth. You see the 'humanoids' from Zims point of view, which are germy, drooly creatures without an ounce of intelligence. So his 'mission' to take over the world seems pretty easy. But not really. First of all Zim's robot slave given to him by the rulers of his race, Gir. Is really just an insane hunk of metal, next of all Dib, who is the only human who tries to stop Zim in his plans, the only problem is... when your a genius and all your theories are correct and nobody believes you, it can be really frustrating. Well anyway, the show is really well done. Its has bright colors and quirky animation. The voice actors do a really great job, making the characters hilarious and believable. And the music is really catchy. People who dont like Invader Zim either have no sense of humor or hate cartoons. So if you havent seen this show, watch it, youll be laughing from beginning to end. It also entertians people with the shortest attention span.

My Friend's creepy Goth sister who beats him with a fly swatter loves this show and tries to get me to watch it but I think it sucks and is unfunny!!!!

Fabulous cartoon, it's definitely the most inventive and entertaining cartoon in a decade. The style is unique, the biting humor is excellent, and the characters are hard not to adore. Absolutely ingenius. I'd give it a five, but it isn't without its faults, for a few episodes are really disappointing, and it's not a show for everyone, especially those who dislike crude humor or just don't get the jokes. It's a show made for those of us who are just slightly...insane. Shame it got cancelled so early.

You can tell by the color,art,music,humor,and special effects that the people who worked on this show actually worked hard on making their cartoon look and sound really nice,unlike shows like fairly oddparents who show no signs of working hard to make their show appealing. (I think I spelled that wrong.)But fairly oddparents got famous anyways so it doesn't matter how much I complain about the crappy animation on that show.But Invader Zim is a Great show!

This is the best show That I've ever seen. It's very funny and actually has a plot unlike many other cartoons that I've seen. The animation is sort of simple yet creative and original. Don't listen to the people who don't like this show.
