I really like Steve Burton's character on GH. I record the show, and watch it later at night once everything in the house is calm and quiet, and my kids are sleeping. I fast foward to the Steve and Maurice story lines.. I don't agree with some of the other comments in regards to Steve Burton being a horrible actor who relies on his looks. I think he is a great actor. I could see him doing a movie or a series like josh duhaml did.
Bottom line Steve is a great actor, who happens to be gorgeous!

He's just gotten better with age. Love Jason, love the ark that the baby storyline has brought to SB acting. Up til now I thought Jason was pretty but a bit one-note. Now I see some layers to the character. He's not he best actor on the show. NOt even in the top 5 (that'd be TH, JE, NLG, MB AND JH AND RICKH)but I think a lot of the actors on GH (MB, NLG, KeMo) think they're a lot better than they actually are

Steve Burton gives a great performance on GH. He is a great actor who has shown that he can fulfill different roles. When he started out, he was more of a brainy rich boy, then he moved on to mobster, and now he is getting in touch with his emotional side as he mourns the death of his father. It also helps that he's a major hottie!

Mediocore actor who will never be able to make it off of a soap that doesn't cater to him and to Maurice Benard. Only thing going for him is his looks and the fact that the writers and producers at GH worship him.

Not a fan of this big-mouthed actor at all! he's a barely decent actor who only has his looks going for him. needs to learn that the show doesn't revolve around him... oh wait a minute - this is GH - of course the show revolves around him and around Maurice Benard - too bad Burton knows it.

In reference to Alie's comment about the only emotion he is able to show being anger....that is actually part of an ongoing storyline that has lasted several years, going back to the accident where AJ was driving drunk. He became Sonny's right-hand man and lost the ability to feel emotions, therefore anger is about the only emotion he regained and some love toward Sam and Michael.

The only thing he has going for him are his looks. Too bad he seems unable to show any emotion other than anger.

Steve Burton is not only the BEST LOOKING MAN on daytime, but he has been doing a GREAT job with his acting skills recently, his recent story line losing baby lila brought me to tears, he's doing a great job with this character, good luck with the Emmy's~

I LOVE Steve Burton (Jason) on GH. He IS my all time favorite actor on the show. Yes he is quite most of the time but thats just how the charater* is and I don't think people should say he is a horrible acter cause if they do they are FAR from the truth. GH wouldn't be a good show without Steve (Jason) on it.

I think Steve Burton's talent is limitless! One day his time will come to suprise us all. I look foward to all of his scenes and am hoping he will have more emotions to play with...his depth is great! He deserves many more Emmy awards. I think if certain people really understood acting or the character of Jason, they would understand Steve's expressions and personality. Steve Burton is a fantastic actor who easily became the new Jason..who is a heck of a lot more exciting than Jason was before the accident. I dont know what u people consider to be good acting. But just remember, actors only get nominated for Emmys if they are truly talented...and Steve is one of them! So get a clue please!

Steve Burton has zero expression, zero depth, and zero interest in being an actor. He's only in it for the salary and so he can hang with his pals at the studio. This is brutally apparent in his every scene. There's no expression to his eyes, he stumbles over his lines... These are the basics, folks!

Steve Burton is truely amazing!!! He gives life to Jason when he rarely is given the words. The man can emote more emotion with those electric blue eyes than most other actors can when given 5 minute monologues. He is a gem!

I believe that Steve Burton does a fantastic job as the role of Jason. He really grabs the audience attention and gets them to feel whatever he is putting out there. It just kills me whenever he sheds a tear; I just want to start sobbing. Those eyes of his just pull you in and never let you go.

Back when Steve's character was paired with Robin, I was fascinated. Hard to believe, but he actually emoted, people. Now, it's like there's a magical talking wooden log featured front and center every damn day on GH that goes by the name of Jason. Self-righteous bastard. Completely expendable. So, please, PTB. Dispense of him!

Once again, I used to think this actor was good, but years of lazy acting and phonig it in have changed my mind. He plays his character (the hitman) with such a mind boggling sense of righteous indignation its almost funny. But you can only stare and blink so long before it gets really old.

I absolutely LOVE Steve Burton, or Jason Morgan, on General Hospital. he is an amazing actor, and he and Alicia Leigh Willis have amazing chemistry.

This man is one of the most talented actors I have had the great pleasure of watching!!! He can portray any emotion and make me believe him. When he is sad so am I and when I see him portray the character Jason Morgan in Love, it makes me melt!

Jason (Steve Burton) is a really good actor and really hot as well (What girl in there right mind would not want him).. I love GH the only thing I don't like is that Jason and Courtney are not together right now.. I think they make a perfect couple and I also love Sonny (Maurice Benard) , Carly (Tamara Braun) are a really cute couple as well i think these two couples should remain together. Also i think that Courtney should start living up to what she promised in her vows when they got married for better or for worse and i think that she is a liar and taking the easy way out of a hard situation. But love as everyone knows is not easy. So i think she should buck up and try to compromise instead of running away.

He has great control of his character's emotions particularly as they relate to the Quartermaine's and his chosen profession. His pairing with Courtney detracts from his character but he hasn't lost his edge.

The best looking daytime actor! He makes me fall in love with him even more each episode. He is wonderfully talented at portraying a fairly difficult character.

Originally, I would have given him a 5, but currently I really have to say that I don't like his character on GH (Jason) very much. I liked his character with Robin, sometimes with Carly, loved him with Elizabeth, but ever since he's been with Courtney, I just haven't been able to stand him. I think that the writers are totally messing his character up because he is totally out of character!!! I don't care if he's with NOBODY as long as it's not Courtney. Haven't seen him in any of his other roles but GH so am giving him the benefit of the doubt that he must have some range in order to be hired elsewhere. But, on GH, I just haven't seen it except in his scenes with Brenda and a few with Carly.

Jason is hot but not as hot as Ric.I think Ric is the hottest guy on the whole show and really the only reason i started watching it.

From looking at the other reviews you can see that Burton is either a love 'im or hate 'im kind of guy. If I didn't read about all the stuff he does while not playing Jason Morgan I probably wouldn't be as harsh a critic. So take that under advisory. Burton did excellent work in the miniseries Taken for the SciFi channel so I'll use that for comparison rather than gossip from the soap rags. Burton can be very effective in the role of Jason Morgan, he has strong connections to most of the other characters on GH and that makes him a front burner player most of the time. Unfortunately, on occasion it has been more apparent that Mr Burton is phoning in his performance and not making the most his front burner status. If Mr Burton is bored then he needs to move on. If he is planning on making a career out of GH then he needs to put his all into it. GH is not Spielburg. But then the performance he is giving on GH isn't worthy of spielburg either.

Boring and one note actor. The character of Jason doesn't do him any favors. He's in daytime and refuses to take his shirt off???? Come on Steve, I want my money's worth.

He was great in "The Last Castle" and is equally good on "General Hospital". The Show wouldn't be the same without him. Also his seens with Vanessa Marcil were the best.

Steve Burton is defintely the sexiest man alive. Five stars is an understatement b/c he deserves ten. He's got it all working him. He's HOT, talented, funny, smart, and sweet!!!! I love G-H!! G-H would be nothing without Steve. Jason and Courtney are great together. Steve is a total HOTTIE!!~ He is defintely PERFECT!!

The only reason I tune in to General Hospital is to watch steve act. He is real and the best actor I have seen in a long time. I wish I could see him in more movies. I think his looks have him in my hospital ward.

i think that steve burton (jason) is the sexiest man alive and if any one cant see that then they should probally have their head examined. i mean where else are you going to find some one who has pretty blue, eyes, great hair, is sweet, honest, doesnt have his head up his ass, is not afraid to take a risk, and has perfect teeth, look at the way the proposed to his wife, i mean how much sweeter can a man get?? he is picture perfect he is the main reason general hospital is good!! (him and sonny) he plays a wonderful, faithful mobster on the show then does comedy, he is perfect!!!!!!

I love the show, and his character. Although I don't agree with the show having him let go of his rights to his son, I mean come on Micheal looks just like him, and plus one night with A.J. and you have a baby, no way. She was with Jason more times than I can remember. I was hoping that the show would marry Carly and Jason,because he's the only one that forgives her mistakes,and accepts her for herself, her lies, and schemes. I mean the guy even took care responsibility for their baby, and her tries to put the pieces back together in her life. Plus, it didn't look right with Carly and Sonny he doesn't forgive easily which is not a good sign for Carly. Plus,the show would have been more intersting if they were to marry. I think that Steve Burton is a good actor, and his character is great. I also, loved every episode with him and Carly in it, it made me sit on the edge of my seat every time.
