A small, intimate house-style hostel in Windermere with a common room, a kitchen, and several four-person bedrooms. The owner/proprietor of this place was out of town the three days I stayed here. No one answered when my friend and I knocked on the front door, and after scouring the entire place, we found an envelope in the kitchen in which we were supposed to leave our payment. We were flattered by his trust and paid up.
