At times seeks scandal that borders on yellow journalism, but still a respectable paper. Sports section is more than decent. Not the best, but very good nonetheless.

Better lately; still constrained by the Belo empire and rather slanted towards big business, Bush politics. Official policy seems to be promotion of the Republican agenda. Good comics section; bad resident editorial cartoonist.

Has by far the best sports section I've ever seen.

Dallas Morning News was the greatest newspaper around when I was living in Texas. It still is, but I'm not living in Texas anymore, so I like The New York Times. I still pop into their website every now and then to see what's going on, but Dallas Morning News is rated kind of high on this list.

Very attractive layout and good coverage of national events. Love the detailed sports section with their great box scores.

I think I remember instances during Monica-gate where the Dallas Morning News broke stories that were poorly researched and later discredited. But by and large, I hear OK things about this paper.
