I bought mine refurbished off of Apple's website. This machine would be a bit slow for some professional work, ie. processor intensive filters and effects in Adobe AE.

I rated this as high as I did because for the price I bought it for the performance/screen quality combined is significantly better than if I had bought a PC.

OSX Leopard is extremely stable and responsive. I experience crashes only once every 2-3 months and these have all been resolved with a restart.
