The greatest leader of the Ottoman Empire witch lasted five centuries. His long reign was known as the golden age of the Ottoman Empire. Suleyman extended the empire through military campaigns conquering much of what is known today as the Middle East. After Suleyman died the Empire lasted, but was never as prosperous.
