Avoid. Dishonest and incompetent to boot. One of the vets nearly killed my cat (never trust anyone who sounds like a valley girl!). I told her he had an appetite problem; maybe some bad teeth in need of extraction? She completely ignored it and said it was probably pancreatitis or hyperthyroidism. On one occasion she charged me over 3 times the estimate and I had to call her up and ask her why the same medicine he got last week was suddenly 4 times as much. ("Oh, prices just went up." She did make an adjustment and credited it back to me.) She suggested exploratory surgery ($2000) which I thankfully declined. Two months later, we discovered from another vet that there was something growing in my cat's lower jaw; it might be cancer which explained why his appetite problems worsened after a brief upturn. So there WAS something wrong in his oral cavity as I suspected (he regained his appetite for a month and then lost it almost completely). He ended up getting part of his jaw removed because of it. Again, AVOID!
P.S. If you're curious, my kitty is doing well--even for a near 16 year old. His appetite seems to have returned for good. That surgery was a life-saver. Ultimately, of course, we don't know for certain if this negligent vet's mistake actually caused all of his problems, but her brushing off of his oral problems couldn't have helped. And the killer: his pancreas and thyroid were perfectly normal.
