Its hard to appreciatge Hughes because I never saw him in front of the camera. However, he was some of the brains behind some classic comedies from the 80's and early 90's. He hadn't kept up with Hollywood lately, but his resume was certainly impressive enough for him to be missed by those who grew up during the 80's and 90's.
