Initially a three-star sports 'scandal' that is quickly losing steam. . .Pitino will suffer from the typical American hypocrisy held by many in the stands and in the media but let's face it-

Pitino is safe as long as he wins. . .the Puritans be damned. No one thinks that Slick Rick is a nice guy- but really. . .his job? His 'reputation'? If his school fires him the phone will ring 10 times with 10 jobs - what they hell are they supposed to do?

Dying sports story. . .

I think Rick Pitino is a very good coach. That being said, I think his behavior doesn't reflect well upon Louisville. If it was Coach Chester Lee from Ladybugs, he would've been canned on the spot. Do I think Pitino should be fired? That depends on if he broke the rules. If he did, then he needs to go. His name and reputation are what will keep him in his position.
