Cynical Sam is right. Too focused on metal which is probably the least demanding of all guitar-based music. It's not that difficult to shred when you have the right gear.

As long as it continues to concentrate on headbangers and hair bands, this magazine will continue to be inferior to Guitar Player, which addresses a wider spectrum of playing styles.
