Not in love with the show but i don't hate it either. Sometimes i find an episode I like but most the time i don't care for it. Love the characters though.

Funny stuff, but definitly pretty brainless. Generally the plot line is really weak and at first glance it seems too retarded to watch, but its kinda like cigarettes. At first you hate it, then you get addicted.

This is one of those shows that you can't judge based on looks. People will become turned off by seeing a giant talking milkshake, a floating order of fries and a meatball, (I was when I first saw the show). But you have to give it at least a few episodes before you make a fair judgement call. This is possibly one of the funniest cartoons today. All the characters are unique and we all know at least ONE person with a personality like Carl, Shake, Frylock or Meatwad. You're not supposed to analyze it, Just sit, watch and laugh! This is one of those shows that you have to watch with an open mind. Otherwise change the channel. As for me, I'll watch it and spread the word.

Awesome show. The shortness of each episode makes it like a skit in a sketch comedy show. Too mature for younger viewers, but perfect for adults. And the characters are one of a kind, especially Shake. Shake:"I'd like to help you Frylock, but I won't."

Not as great as it used to be, but blends smart and dumb humor together and makes it work quite well.

This show started out great, but for the past couple of years, it has been wearing quite thin. I don't see much of a future for it. I hope it gets put to rest before it really starts to suck.

i really dunno what to think of this cartoon. my boyfriend loves it, so i've managed to watch the first two seasons. i think its unguided and uninteresting. but i have to say that no matter what happens in the episodes, i love meatwad!

This show is aimed at a particular wavelength of humor. No, I'm not talking about stoners. ATHF contains a great amount of random humor... If you appreciate random humor, you will love it. If you prefer more structure and sequence in your entertainment, you'll probably hate it. It's a pretty polarizing show. Me, I love it... much like I love MST3K, The Evil Dead series, Monty Python, etc.

i think this show is a unique,funny,show. the show is about a floating box of french fries with laser vision,a wad of meat that can form into any shape,and a milkshake who doesn't do much except watching tv,and swimming in their crabby, beer-bellied neighbor carl's pool.the show was originally pitched as them being detectives,even though they just..hang out,and stuff happens to them.the thing i like the show is it's new appearance,where usually,the whole picture is animated with paints and stuff.on this show,they draw the characters,and cut and paste them on a computer background that THEY mostly create(sometimes,they steal backgrounds from johnny quest,or the powerpuff girls).now,what i REALLY like about the show is the voice acting.not only is the script and dialougue freakin' hilarious,but HOW the actors work with their charaters.the acting remarkably comes alive,and non-monotonely.(is that a word?)this is really one of the neatest shows i've seen,but at first i hated the show because of it's style and humor,but as i watched it more,i started loving it.please watch it more than once, before you make your decision about the show

Great show. Has great voice acting with funny character interaction. This isn't your usual comedy show. The show doesn't go out of its way to say Hey, we made a joke, please laugh at it. Please. It's not about making 1,000 allusions, or slap stick crap with doh every 5 seconds. It's about random absurdity and good old fashioned fun. If this comedy doesn't float your boat, then either stick to the simpsons/futurama/family guy or cartoon cartoon Fridays.

Representing a new trend in animation, along with Sealab 2021 and Harvey Birdman, of schizophrenic cartooning seemingly tailored to the ADD crowd or intoxicated college students. The humor and plots jump around seemingly at random, so the show is at the very least unpredictable. There is no deep social commentary, it's just silly fun. The animation is intentionally cheesy, which enhances the humor. Sadly, I'm told this great show is being cancelled, so watch it while you still can.

Honestly the best show i have EVER seen. Great plots, great animation, all that I could ever ask for in a cartoon. Also the fact that milkshakes and frys and chunks of meat solving mysterys is the best idea in this century!

Aqua Teen is a very interesting twist on the cartoon comedy genre. The cartoon stars a cast of fast food items living in New Jersey. There's a box of fries named Frylock, a meatball named Meatwad, and a shake named nonother than Master Shake. The original pitch for the show was that this group of characters were detectives. However, it was merely a way to get the show produced, as the real show revolves around nothing in particular. And of course, you really can't pitch a show about nothing. The initial pitch is actually only seen in the first two episodes. The show produces its laughs around situational humor, hilarious character personalities, and just all around absurdity. *Animation wise, the show is lacking. Many of the movements the characters perform are reused throughout the series. And movement is sort of restricted for the main cast. A lot of it has to do with the composition of the Aqua Teens bodies. Shake has hands, but only protruding 2 inches from his body. Even their human neighbor Carl, very rarely animated his arms past his hips. The characters themselves are also flipped sometimes to face the opposite direction. But interesting enough, this doesn't seem to hinder the actual show. The reused animation is hardly an eyesore (Not nearly as in DBZ), nor is it really an issue. And many of the tricks the creators use to perform motions with restricted movement almost ad to the overal humor of the show. Seeing Carl grab a TV off the street in one fell swoop while hiding his legs produces more of a absurd, yet funny scene. *Background art can be judged differently depending on what season or episode that is in question. The initial pilot episode stole a lot of backgrounds from other cartoons such as the Powerpuff Girls and Jonny Quest. The actual original backgrounds that the show did produce in the primary season were decent, but almost felt out of place in the series. But as the show progressed, the backgrounds went under some major reconstruction. Even the Aqua Teens home sports a completely different feel than it did so many episodes ago. The original backgrounds in the show now sport a realistic 3d look. In fact, it looks as though the creators took a picture of real life buildings/scenes/items and cut and pasted them into their backdrops. What's even more amazing is that these buildings/scenes/items are drawn completely by hand, from scratch, from the team's background artist. There are also many details the artist throws into the mix that the average viewer might miss, such as the occasional reflections and lighting effects. As of right now, the backgrounds look very well rendered and fit the shows personality perfectly. *The voice acting is what really makes the show stand out. With the exception of the first episodes of the show, the voice acting has really made these character personalities come alive. A lot of humor not only comes from just the content of what the characters are saying, but how they are saying it. In most cartoon shows, the casts deliver their lines almost robotically. In Aqua Teen, there's personally hidden behind almost every single line delivered. The Aqua Teen's neighbor Carl is a perfect example of this. The actual voices of the characters also are very fitting, and very funny. Whether it be the high pitch voice of Meatwad or the mellowed out voice of Frylock, the shows voice acting manages to pull the show together very nicely. All in all, it's a very fresh feeling in the genre. If you are looking for another Simpsons or Family Guy, you better look elsewhere. But if you are looking for some good old-fashioned nonsense, a bit of adult humor sprinkled here and there, and just throw continuity to the wind, then this is the show for you.

A TV show. About a genius floating fry, a... erm... odd shake, and a braindead wad of meat. What is not to love? The antics are original, all the time, the characters, such as the mooninites, are beyond comparisn in originality. This show is retarded genius, if I may contradict myself. Anybody who hates this should give it a better look. And meatwad is a rush fan, making him cooler than he already is.

This show is the best show ever. The characters have such funny personalities and they blend well too. It seems really dum at first but if you look past the dumness you see a really funny show that entertaines you. The characters stupidness with eachother makes this show great.

This is one of the smartest, funniest shows on the tube. The characters are flawless. The blend of ego (Master Shake) with insecurity (Meatwad) and believable personalities is a great appeal. And with Frylock being the voice of reason it makes a great team. The show's rude obnoxious flavor is great for late-night audiences. It didn't take long for the writers to find what they wanted out of their characters (one episode). It took The Simpsons a full season to get the voices they needed. Number one in the hood G!

Keep in mind that all this is coming from a South Park fan: ATHF is stupid. Poor animation, bad story lines, and a cast full of idiots. The only thing even slightly funny aout it is Master Shake. And thats only because he is the biggest idiot of them all. This show is a novelty and nothing more.

It can be an aquired taste, but the show is very funny and very original. Stop trying to analize it and just enjoy it.

hmmm... i like to think i've been around & seen a lot - done even more. what i don't get is HOW on Earth ANYone's mind can be SO FEEBLE as to not possess the intellect to appreciate this show. i truly feel that likely all of the negative feedback for this AWESOME program is left by people who are simply frustrated because they cannot grasp the dry, sarcastic, off-the-cuff humor that MAKES this show what it is. simple minds draw simple conclusions when it comes to humor - 'hate it' seems to be the most common. Whoever doesn't like this show hasn't given it enough of a chance. The show's concept may seem dumb, but they make it work. Before badmouthing this show, give it a fair shot and you'll see its brilliance.

A terrible travesty of a cartoon, this Adult Swim total-reject deserves to be cancelled right away. Once again, the mind boggles as to how this poorly-animated, terribly-acted, emptyheaded-written show gets such a high rating when great cartoons like "Pokemon," "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," and "Tokyo Pig," get harped upon. This show has no humor, pure and simple.
