I drive a 18 wheeler and had my 9-year old son with me on a trip to Pompano Beach,FL. I dropped my trailer at a local motel and took my son to the public beach. I parked in a city owned pay lot at the beach. I took up only one parking space and paid the meter for two hours. We stayed at he beach only 45 minutes and went back to the truck. We were about to leave when a Broward County Sherriffs car came into the lot. We got out of the truck and ask the deputy where we could get something to eat and she directed us to a resturant a block away to which we walked. When we came back we had a parking ticket that said no semis in the lot. There was no signs visable any where near the place we parked the truck. Beware ! Not a popular place so they will get your money any way they can. Great example to my 9-year old on public survants!!(Ha Ha)
