I really hate this show a lot

Some quicktastic, samurai sword-slashing, simple dialogue fun, is what this show is about. The story gets dragged on and is about revenge and the main character just trying to get back home.

The character is quite plain, and ought to be that way too, since he is to be a samurai after all, a traditional kind.

The world around him seems alien and futuristic, but he never waivers and retains what it is true to him, and what makes him who he is.

A stranger in an ever changing world, hes always somewhere new and dealing with some new enemy. Not a bad show, with alot of action to match.

Samurai Jack all I can say is: OH, PLEAZE!!

I watched this show a few times, and it is a work of art. BUt as far as entertainment value, it's missing something. If people watch the show and it stays on the air, that's good. But I won't be a frequent viewer.

Watch more than one episode before you judge this cartoon. There is none other like it on TV right now. Amazing artistry in scenery and character rendering. Elegant and meaningful quiet. Eloquent facial expressions. Pretty rockin' action scenes. And for a cartoon figure, Jack is quite HOT!

It's a great cartoon. But it's a little strange seeing the professor from the powerpuff girls fighting robots. Some action sequences are a little hard to believe. I saw an episode where he entered the earth's atmosphere from space and after landing he didn't even get scratched. And people say that DBZ is unrealistic. Animation is a little crude.

I admit, first I didn't want to watch it because I thought the animation was cheap, but hey, I was wrong--I think that the animation is fluid and echoes the oriental/martial arts feel of the character while still being able to depict even modern times with its angularity. This cartoon touches on a lot of philosophical and interesting concepts, which is a plus for those who are into that kind of thing : ). It's not for everyone, but for those who enjoy a bit of philosophy and art, this might be good for you. Oh . . . and the action is great!

I don't know how someone could be so dense as to not like Samurai Jack. The storyline is great, and I like the concept of the animation not having the black outlines.
