The C series is the third and newest of Suzuki's three cruiser models. The M series is the former Maurader, the S series is the former Intruder, the C series is more dressed with full fenders, more weight and less power. The C50 is the least powerful bike I've owned but it's a cruiser, designed for a relaxing ride rather than blasting through traffic or around twisty roads. Truthfully I was ready to sell the bike shortly after buying it but I receive compliments every outing, many more than my previous sportbike or standard. Women especially, frequently approach me and comment about how much they like the bike. Kinda hard to get rid of something that attracts so much attention. The ride is nice but the seat is a bit soft and doesn't really match the riding position. Ends up with my weight resting on about a 2 inch patch of my butt across the seat. After a few hours it becomes uncomfortable. The bike doesn't have any trouble keeping up with traffic although it would benefit from a sixth gear. I ride fast on the superslab and it buzzes like a hornet's next rocked by a kid up around 85-90 mph. Even with my liberal use of throttle, I still get around 45mpg; just slightly less than the estimated 49 mpg. One very annoying problem, sometimes the bike doesn't like to downshift from 3rd or 2nd gear. From reading several forums, this is a common problem with the Boulevard and there is an aftermarket bushing available that reportedly fixes it.
