Cole Valley is like a hipper Noe Valley. It's quiet and nice, with plenty of restaurants, and one real bar (Finnegan's Wake). It's usually just beyond the fog line, so the weather is a bit better than say, the Inner Sunset. And if it ever starts feeling too quiet, you can walk the three blocks into the Haight. I could live here.

I really like cole valley, I wish i could afford to live there. Its very quaint with charming apartments, and very central to everythign else in the city. Cute little coffee shops, grocery store, wine/cheese store, and couple local bars in what I like to call the "downtown of cole valley". Good brunch spot of course.....zazie is located there.

Adjacent to the haight. Some friends of the family bought a multi-level victorian back in the 1960s on Clayton Street for $35,000. It's worth almost 2 million now.

A very well kept secret in San Francisco. Cole Valley is tucked away on the north side of Twin Peaks. Pretty little, well maintained neighborhood. A gem. The N-Judah MUNI line isn't the most dependable subway line.
