 | eric the red (0) 05/17/2004 | The Manchester show in the Final, Final, Final Tour (17.5.04) started off with the worst support act I have ever seen in my life! The supposed comedienne (Pam Ann?) was about as funny as the black death. She was cringingly bad.
The acoustics for Cher were very poor and her amazing voice together with great instrumental support were largely wasted (they sounded like they were being played through a 1960's 50 stereo at full volume.
The show didn't seem to have moved on in years - I felt like I had seen it all before on TV - in fact almost 50% seemed to comprise old video clips whilst she changed her costume again and again and again!
If you are into dancers, acrobats and glitz I'd go to the circus. If you are going to see Cher to hear her fabulous voice on this showing I'd stick to her CDs and avoid disappointment. This is the only concert I can ever remember leaving before the end!

And, if you see any value at all in this particular celebrity's political opinion, you should know that she once thought Mt. Rushmore occured naturally. Get my drift?
