She really seems to have a little girl voice, or the way she speaks, thats why she was so good in that Big ripoff movie.

I had an ex-boyfriend that was really attracted to her, but I think she is a discount Hillary Swank--one that is a bit less androgynized. Her neck is too big, and I thought the chain of Elektra movies was wasteful.

Jennifer Garner simply is not believable as a dramatic actress. Her comedic acting is a step above her dramatic acting. But when she is given to the chance to be funny in a film she often comes off giggly, and giddy. I might as well watch equally awful Dakota Fanning.

I'm not really into knowing about Hollywood actors/actresses or anything, but Jennifer Garner is my all-time fave! I've been watching Alias ever since the series came out and I collect the dvds! How many actresses can be Sydney Bristow? I don't think it's so easy to act as if you're an expert martial arts expert secret agent who can speak more than 10 languages. In real life, I doubt Jennifer actually knows complete Russian, Hungarian, Japanese, etc. but she does her best to convince the audience that Sydney is "multi-lingual." The only complaint that I have is that she needs to work more on her Russian accent (a Russian-sounding person trying to speak English). I just know because well, I live in an area with a lot of Russians. Oh, well. You can be too harsh on people. Overall, Jennifer is a rarity in Hollywood, which I like. She looks like "the girl next door," she's cute, she has a down-to-earth-personality, not arrogant and stuck-up like many actresses, and she's not a whackjob " " " (e.g actresses and their special diet plans, Tom Cruise and Madonna with their "unique" religious beliefs, Paris carrying a dog around in some $2,000 bag). As for her appearance, she's perfectly fine the way she is (esp. for her role in Alias). You can't have some frail-looking, anorexic, stuck-up, blond diva play Sydney.

#1? I know I'm not the only one who thinks she's pretty...for a man in drag. We have come to accept such low standards...

Played in rather forgettable movies. Average.

She has that cute girl next door quality. She is good in Alias but I would like to see her playing different roles. Preferably one where she does not use her body and fight.

In the past, I've enjoyed her performances, and I think she seems like a really sweet woman. I think she goes better with Ben Affleck than J Lo did, and I'm happy for her recent birth. She's far from my favourite, because some of her roles annoyed me, but she's okay.

Come on ! Jennifer Garner is the best actress ? I like her and all but she hasn't really proved herself to be the best actress, she needs to do more of a variety of roles. My respect for her fell when she married that dork, Ben Affleck. The guy gives oral sex to strippers for gods sake !

Cast in Alias for her obvious strength and athleticism, she is a likeable, and solid actress. She has a great girl-next-door quality, and shows the focus and determination necessary to be a believable double agent. She's not the most beautiful woman in the world, but is cute enough to be mildly attractive.

A stiff and to me not that pretty.

She always plays smart,deadly, sexy heroines. granted, I've only seen three of her roles[Daredevil,Elektra,Alias] but she's been great in all of them.Plus she's just a sweet woman, very kind and caring.

Bad actress, annoying and looks like a man. I have to look away from the TV when she is on in fear that her face may scorch my retinas

She's an O.K. actress.... but her face is what gets to me. Her entire profile is very Crude. She looks like early man, like a Neanderthal. She has very masculine lines and her lips stick out way too far along with her cheek bones and her eyes are too small and sunken in. very Crude looks.... too cave man-ish' and those dimples throw everything off. She's an odd one that is for sure.

I really enjoyed her in 13 going on 30. She has a great personality in interviews and looks great.

Where did people get the idea that she is some ravishing beauty? She has beady eyes, freaky dimples, crooked teeth and an overly muscular body. Her acting is OK, I sorta liked 13 Going on 30.

The rare combination of a good looking strong woman who can really act. Kind of like Sigourney Weaver or Helen Hunt. Should have a great career in tv and the movies.

i dont get what all the fuss is about with this girl...her acting skills are mediocre at best, shows and movies that she stars in are for the most part very lame, and she is just not that attractive...those broad shoulders and her muscular face and neck realy creep me out.

I love her. She is beautiful, talented, intelligent and actually capable of making me cry. No other actress can do that to me. She has moments in Alias that are so heartfelt, and a few moments later she's kicking someone's ass. And 13 Going on 30---what a change for her and she was perfect. Hollywood, as expected, seems to have changed her but she must've known what she was in for. Her first marriage fizzled because of her sudden fame, so now she hangs out with Affleck, bringing more attention to her. But there is a reason Affleck fell for her. If she's as sensitive, charming and empathetic in real life as she is on TV and in the movies (we already know she looks fantastic), what guy, famous or not famous, would NOT fall for her? And for the person who was bummed because ABC is not bringing back Alias, I heard they're not bringing it back because Jen wants to concentrate on her movie career.

Took away one star because she broke up with Micheal Vartan. Hmph.

Jennifer Garner is so beautiful and way too underrated!! She has such an adorable face. I like how she's not all anorexic looking like some actresses. She has muscle baby! I also like how she admits that her weight isn't perfect and she doesn't lie about it like some people. I think she's a good actress, and that she needs better roles to show that. Jennifer Garner is definately the best actress in the acting industry today. She's beautiful, talented, nice, hilariously funny, and can play any role hollywood throws at her. She's simply amazing and she is one of my role models. I hope I can become just like her.

Jennifer Garner tries hard, sometimes, to be a good actress. She can't make up for lack of talent with hard work, though. She has limited abilities and is mediocre in her best moments. While the fact that she is not attractive and has angular mannish features has nothing to do with her acting ability, that fact that her appearance and talent are both sub-par is an unfortunate coincidence.

Her acting is subdued but full of emotions. She can emote very, very well--whatever part/role/alias you throw her way. A chameleon, indeed, with a humble, carefree soul.

The world is just about to experience what it feels to watch the most beautiful, sweetest and sensational woman in Hollywood history. 13 Going On 30 is coming out on April 23rd and I can't wait... That's of course for the non-believers of one of the best shows on TV - Alias. Because if you've been watching for the last 3 years, there is no way you are NOT in love with Jennifer. Unlike just about every woman in Hollywood, Jennifer is NOT crazy like Angelina Jolie. Or FAKE like Britney Spears. Or STUPID like Paris Hilton. No, she is none of those things. She is very smart, very sweet, really funny, very honest and humble - and she loves her family. Add to this how incredibly beautiful and talented she is, and there simply is no one better... EVER!
