How mythic is Mythic?!
The best cheap late-night shady-looking pizza in town.

If it was possible to give it lower rating - I would! I was starving and craving pizza so I thought I'd give Mythic a try. I wish I'd gone with anything else instead. The crust was not deep as we ordered, and managed to be undercooked, overcooked and extremely soggy all at once. The sauce was virtually non-existant and what little there was, was tasteless. The only thing in abundance was the cheese. The large mass of oily, congealing, low-grade, nauseating cheese. I wished I'd gone hungry instead. Do yourself a favor and learn from our mistake. Pass on Mythic Pizza.

I used to think pizza was like sex (i.e., even when it's bad it's good). I was mistaken. Mythic Pizza's "deep dish" pizza was revolting! The crust was not "deep." The flavorless sauce was nearly nonexistent. Seemingly to atone for this, Mythic piled on 4lbs of poor quality cheeze. The pizza had no redeeming qualities whatsoever. My girlfriend and I loathed it. Do yourself a favor and order from ANYPLACE else! Oh, by the way, the guy taking our order was abrupt and the delivery guy brought the wrong beverage.

Closest to New York style pizza you'll find in San Francisco, and their Caesar salad with grilled chicken is better than I've had at many upscale restaurants.

We live on Haight St. and we order Mythic a lot. It is exellent pizza delivered hot with exellent assortment of topics and friendly folks.
