Tasty and thick with lots of cheese and grease. There's no tv in golden boy so you can't watch the game and there's mainly bar seating but it's good for when you want to run in and out. Be prepared, cash only in this place.

Greasy, gross... I wouldn't have this again even if I was desperate. If you're craving drunk food while stranded in North Beach head instead to North Beach Pizza, which is only a block away.

I do not see what the big hype is about Golden Boy. Sure... it's a tradition for post-drinking in North Beach, but during regular, sober business hours... when there are other choices available??? OK, but not that great.

Golden Boy serves some of the best pizza in SF. If you're wandering around North Beach, it's good idea to pick up a square or two some point in the evening. There's always a lot of folks coming through here, which means lots of turnover and fresh pizza.

GOLDEN BOY!!! that's the name. green street. went here when i was starving. a nice little small joint w/one long counter and pans of sicillian-looking pizza cooling in the window. had two squares and four beers there.

This pizza joint is simply a SF institution. The staff has a no non-sense attitude but is friendly and fun. The food is consistently great. The beer selection is decent too. This place has been around forever! And the food has never disapointed. yum

I love this place! This is one of the only pizzas I crave so much that I find myself there at least once a week even though I don't live near by. It's simple, tasty no nonsense pizza. Even better reheated the next day. MMMM

For 20 years - consistently great pizza. Nothing fancy - what you see in the window is what you get. Stop in, grab a beer and a slice of clam and garlic pizza. mmmm

Great pie , reccomended by a hearty italian guy walking down the street who said , "pies or slices?" and then when told slices pointed to this little gem. Oh , my Canadian friend I was with liked because he was 19 and they didn't card him. Great beer also...
