I like Nizario's. It's my first choice for neighborhood pizza by the slice! It's quick and they are open late so you can stumble there after the bars! They also deliver though if you are feeding more than one and it usually takes around the normal 35-40 minutes. Not bad at all ;)

OK... I feel like I'm gonna get reamed for this... but what the hell is the big deal about Nizario's?! I've never understood it... it's just an average little slice-style pizza shop... nothing ever stood out about the food to me. Maybe it's one of those SF tradition things? I know, I know... people love it to death... not me though. I admittedly stear toward the gourmet though when it comes to food.

I have been, and I alwayes admire this best pizza place in the city of san francisco. Mr. Nizario the godfather of pizza pie has a uniqe customer service...I rate him number one#1.

Best pizza in SF... no doubt. And if you ever get a chance to meet Mr. Nizario, he's the coolest guy.

There is no better pizza in SF. I'm not sure if it's the crust (which is amazing), the sauce (which isn't too sweet), or the fact that there is almost always a fresh pie waiting for you anytime you go in day or night to get a slice. Mr. Nizario is also a cult figure of sorts. Two convenient locations: one on Geary near Arguello, and the other on 18th street in the Castro. Awesome, awesome pizza - and only $2.25 for a big slice of pepperoni.
