Life's Abundance is a slightly above average brand of food that I rate as poor simply because of their MLM marketing and mail-order-only availability. It contains only one meat ingredient in the first five listed, and contains two portions of rice and a useless beet pulp filler within those first five ingredients listed. Better than Friskies, but less than stellar.

Life's Abundance is 24 percent carbohydrate, which is lower than most other brands. Feline diabetes is actually linked to lack of exercise in cats, specifically indoor cats, according to the American Veterinary Association.

Life's Abundance is a great choice in cat food - it contains no corn, wheat, soy, dyes or preservatives and it is cooked in a fast-cook process to retain most of the nutrients. It is manufactured in a private, stand-alone facility so there is no chance of cross-contamination of ingredients by other pet food manufacturers.

So the moral here is ... Just give your cats enought exercise!

My kitty loved Life's Abundance.? After doing some research I discovered that it contains too many carbohydrates.?Carbs are not good for cats.? Leads to kidney failure plus many other ailments.? I have switched to EVO dry, she loves that as well.? I am also trying to get her to eat wet food. I tried the "raw diet", no?luck so far, I have to get her to like?we food first.? Fancy Feast is crap!? Any food that contains animal by-products and corn avoid at all costs. A good wet food is Natural Balance.?A good way to judge pet food is by the first 5 ingredients. Check out your kitty's dry food label, if it starts with corn get rid of it!? Your vet may not agree with this....they want kitty to get sick in her old age!? $$$$$$$$$?


If I only new about this sooner, my senior cats would have not died?of kidney failure.? They drank tons of water and made cement blocks in the litter pan.?
