We have had this "insurance" for about 5 years. What we've noticed is an ongoing problem with them not paying for claims that I believe they should've when I've read the policy. Two examples are I went to my doctor for a pap smear and skin exam. My policy states I can see a doctor every 3 months and will be covered for it. They send a statement in the mail saying they won't cover it because it's "routine care" I was never told that when we bought the policy and I'm complaining to the state and recommend others do the same. Also my husband had outpatient surgery for an infection on his leg and had to come back daily to have it checked for about 3 weeks. They didn't pay for any of that, stating that it was because he saw a physicians assistant instead of a doctor and that they don't pay for the supplies the doctor used! They look for any lie they can find not to cover you. I'm writing to the state, the bbb, the white house! What they're doing is ilegal and it's a waste of time to talk to the rubberheads answering the phones over there. There's nothing wrong with your perception if you've been ripped off by them because they are in fact misleading and ripping people off and I think some of them should be put in prison because of it! The people who work their phones sit there all day and act appalled and surprised that anyone would question what they're doing and their job it to make you feel better about being screwed when your are being screwed! I even told the person I was talking to when she said she was trying to "help" me that the truth is she's not going to help me and her and I both know that, big time!
