This has been a great seat. We bought it for my first child, and are now using in for our 2nd. It is very easy to install and keep tight in the forward facing position. It's a little tougher keeping it tight in the backward facing position. (We purchased a Mighty Tight which helps tighten the seatbelts for a snug fit). The 5 point harness is very easy to use, and it doesn't tangle or twist. My 2 1/2 year old was very comfortable in it before we got him another seat. We are using our FP seat for my 6 month old who outgrew his infant seat. He seems very comfortable in it. One negative thing, my older son picked out some of the styrofoam from the seat. I had white stuff all in the car and thought I had a mouse or something! It turned out to be a big 2 1/2 year old mouse who was bored and was digging out the styrofoam in the side of the seat! If they still made these, I'd purchase another, as we will be in car seats for several more years.

I have used the FPSE for 2 kids and my niece used it before me. It's an EXCELLENT carseat and I LOVE the straps that do NOT twist. Haven't been able to find another that does this. It's easy to install, stays in tight and also agree that the cover does NOT fade or shrink and stays looking brand new! Too bad FP doesn't make them anymore.

This is a great car seat! I have had mine for 3 years and through two children, it still looks brand new. The straps do not twist, the cover does NOT shrink or fade when you wash it, and it is easy to install. Now I am in the market for a nice Booster sear and was sorry to hear that Fisher-Price has quit making car seats.
