If you are looking for the perfect hand-held vac then you can stop looking. This one has it all. It is so powerful it practically flies out of your hand when you first turn it on. I have tried hand-held vacs by Eureka, Black & Decker, Electrolux, and a couple of others and none can compare to this. I feel like I have been searching for this machine forever. I mostly use it to do my carpeted stairs and because the suction is so powerful it takes me a fraction of the time to finish them with this small, lightweight and powerful machine. But this machine will be great for your car or anywhere else you want to use it. I can't recommend it enough. It is my top pick favorite.

This is a mighty little hand vac! It's like something Tim Taylor would use on the TV show "Home Improvement". After I showed it to my husband, we started fighting over who would get to use it. Seriously, this thing makes you go looking for new sources of dust to suck up! The dust cup is rather small, though, so you have to empty it frequently. Really love the crevice nozzle! Warning: not for use around decorative knick-knacks or small household pets.

This small handvac has absolutely amazing suction. We live in an old stone house in the woods with 2 dogs, so I have lots of dirt, dust, and cobwebs to clean up, and fur everywhere. This little vacuum can handle ALL of it. Listen to the other reviewers, Dustbusters are nice- they're convenient and they start out strong, but sometimes they just doesn't have the power to finish the job. This one will. It is not bulky, and being a corded vac doesn't make it any harder to use. The flip-out spout is great for tight corners, and the hose and brush adapters are perfect for getting rid of cobwebs on walls & ceilings, dust off of lampshades, and hard to reach areas of stairways. Disclaimer: I do not have carpeted floors; we have all tile and hardwood. This vac works great on both. The dust filter holds quite a bit, and is easy to empty. Yes, it's a little messy; but if you've emptied a Dustbuster, you can handle this. I am so pleased with my purchase, that I'm getting a second one to keep upstairs. A great product.

I am very happy with my Dirt Devil Scorpion purchase. I was looking for a handheld vacuum that could quickly pick up cat hair around the house (including the couch and desk chairs) without having to pull out my big vacuum. This vacuum is just what I needed and it is extremely powerful. It has no problem sucking up the dirt you are looking to eliminate. I use it every other day because it is so handy. I have also found the brush insert to be beneficial in getting hair off of chairs, our comforter and couch. The extender that flips out is so handy for getting into little crevices and cob webs in the corner of the ceiling. The best part about it is that you can flip the extender out while you're vacuuming without having to stop the vacuum and insert it. The only downside I have found is the filter. The filter is made of a soft material so it is hard to get the dirt off of it. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this handheld vacuum.

Works great (though it is not cordless as the description said). It has a powerful suction and does a good job with the car.

I'm not sure if this is possible in mini vacuums, but filterless would be a hundred times better... The filter is kind of fuzzy so it is a bit difficult to clean off, and it does fill up pretty fast.

Overall, I can recommend. Beware, if you are planning on using this with an inverter from your car, it uses 900 Watts and will not work with a lighter weight inverter.
