Somewhat tasty. The vanilla is not really discernable. Tastes more of coke than anything.

If you like really sweet drinks, Vanilla Coke is the way to go. I'm glad they are bringing it back. Vanilla and Coke are very complimentary.

They seem to present this combination as some sort of new thing, but I remember going to the Preakness luncheonette in Wayne, NJ, with my father as a kid and having the guy behind the counter mix Cherry Cokes and Lemon Cokes. Sort of exotic and novel at the time, but nothing that really inspired me. I drink this mass-produced product now from time to time, but the truth is it doesn't seem even as good as my lukewarm memories of those bygone luncheonette days.

Nice idea coke is too bland on its own

it's ok prefer it over lemon flavored soda...much rather stick with Coca-Cola Classic

A good flavor combo but it has too much sugar and is too sweet. If Coca Cola lowered the sugar conent it would be perfect.

As much as I like Coca-Cola products, they missed the mark with this one. It sounded very good. But its taste is weak and lacking quality. I didn't like it at all. :(

If you really like vanilla you will love it if you don't. Well if you don't like vanilla you will also rate it with two stars. Way to much Vanilla it's like drinking carbonated Vanilla extract.

Good vanilla flavor. Sweet but not too sweet like some of the new flavoured Colas out there. Goes really good with Canadian whisky for some reason.

Overall the vanilla sodas are very sweet, but if I was going to drink one it would be Diet Pepsi Vanilla.

It tastes like cream soda to me. It is okay but I do not think I would want to drink this too often. Vanilla Coke is just a little too sweet tasting for me.

yum. i love the taste of vanilla. the flavor of vanilla in a cola. i like it. those 2 flavors can work fine together to make a tasty refreshing cola.

I was raised coke, and still to this day prefer the original to pepsi and other cola's, but this stuff isn't good. Every bottle or can i have had has been flat no matter what the date, and it has a very chemical taste. If i want a vanilla coke I'll go to the drug store soda fountain and get a REAL vanilla coke, with a touch of half and half and whipped cream. yum yum.

Not as good as the original, but definetly delicious. You can actualy taste the Vanilla in it. It;s really good.

Ewwww! Since the first time I tried this version of mixed cola I hated it. I had to spit it out. I hate vanilla chocolate and they put a sweetener inside the product to taste similar. I love french vanilla thats why I drink Jones Vanilla Coke. It's so much better. Still vanilla but different.

It's awful. It tastes flat even when it's first opened. The vanilla taste is overly sweet, the flavors are competing for each other.

Vanilla adds a sweet flavor, but best when poured into a glass. If you drink it from the can it gives it a metallic flavor.

It's good; I like it better than regular Coke. It seems like such an obvious idea now.

ALthough this flavored drink isn't as bad as some, like pepsi blue, it doesn't have very much vanilla flavor, and it leaves a gross aftertaste in my mouth.

Vanilla Coke is pretty good. It just needs more vanilla flavoring. By the way, it is one of the better new soft drinks out.

I thought the idea of Vanilla Coke was excellent. I tried this concoction recently, and I just did not get into it. There wasn't enough vanilla. I could drink a Cream Soda and get my vanilla fix alot easier. It doesn't taste bad though. I mean, I don't hate it. And I still love Coke Classic, and you could definately taste that in this drink.

If I want vanilla, I'll drink a Cream Soda. This stuff is absolutely repulsive.

At first thought, the idea of mixing a cola and vanilla flavor into one pop may not sound like a great idea. Though I don't think it's one of the most creative or original ideas to have ever been concocted and I don't think it's great, I do like the taste a lot, nonetheless. I even prefer this over "regular" Coca Cola (which isn't a great surprise considering that I'm not a big cola fan, per se) but I don't prefer Vanilla Coke over ales and vanillas NOT MIXED with other flavors. Very decent, nonetheless.

It was suprisingly average. Im not a fan of these new flavor drinks, but Vanilla Coke isn't a complete disaster. Its defeinetely not as good as the original but not disgusting like Cherry Coke. Only one 20oz. bottle is enough for me.

A great drink.It has a nice hint of vanilla in it.Vanilla+Cola is great.I can drink loads of it and I'll never get sickened by it but I just hope they make another one that has a bit more vanilla taste in it. :P

I liked this when it first came out, but it just isn't as good as regular coke. It tastes like someone took a can of coke, and doubled the amount of sugar in it. You can literally feel your teeth rotting away with each sip. It also leaves a pretty rank aftertaste.

It's sweeter in Canada because, according to what I heard, we use real sugar in Canada, instead of the corn syrup used in American Coke. I personally don't really like Vanilla Coke. It's fine for the first few sips, but it tastes better if you just melt vanilla ice cream in normal coke.

Yum! It's gr8! It's true that soda shops have better Vanilla Coke, but it's not always easy to get to a place like that. So, Vanilla Coke is a great stand in.

I tried this when I was over in Paris when we were in an 'American Diner' (I'd like to see if it lives up to the diners over there) At first I thought it tasted really nice, but it is just a bit too sweet when you have more than one sip. After I had drank that I had a gulp of my ex's coke and the difference is quite amazing.I think I could get used to it, but I couldn't drink a lot of it. Oh yes, blaqpower - what colour is coke????

Excellent taste for diet soda. My family loves it. Nice to taste something diffent than the typical sodas.

Although it could use just a touch more vanilla flavor, this is a welcome addition to the Coca-Cola soft drink family. Definitely easier on the taste buds & stomach than regular Coke.

This is a good product, but coke needs to find a way to get the vanilla flavoring from dropping to the bottom

I tried it when it first hit the market. What's the rave?! To be quite honest, I just don't know what people are excited about. Maybe I'm not with it, but it seems to me that the sweeter it is, the more people like it. These days, much of the syrupy soft drinks are nearly sickening to me. I prefer tea.

Still a Coke drinker, but this stuff is great! As with other Coke products, it seems to be made slightly sweeter in Canada, don't know why. Not as much of a throat-biter like regular Coke, the vanilla flavour is subtle, but not overly so, and is best savoured upon lightly sipping instead of gulping. The drink also appears to retain its flavour better in aluminum cans than plastic bottles, and I don't recommend adding ice. The extra water basically dissolves the vanilla taste.

This pretty much tastes like you'd expect it to. If you think Vanilla Coke was a good idea, you'll like it; if you don't, you won't. I personally think it was a GREAT idea and I'm addicted to this stuff, which is bad because I typically try to stay away from non-diet soda. I did hear they're coming out with a diet version though, but until then I may very well be drinking a can of this every day!
