Were fighting for Palestinians' rights not to be tortured and killed by Isreal in a time when nobody was doing anything for the Palestinains.

Israel and Palestine have both done some pretty shitty things to one another. All because the U.S. is buddy-buddy with Israel doesn't take away from the attrocities they have committed. All take any actions by either Israel or Palestine as a means of self-defense.

What is funny is now everyone is moaning the fact that the PLF and its political wing are out of power. Now everyone starts to come to the realization that Yassir Arafat was a secular leader and not a Jihad crazy. Dynasword is right. Palestine is not and never has been a recognized nation- not even by other Arab/ Muslim nations. This was a name given to a map region by the Romans.

There are only 2 things in the middle east. Oil and teorrists! If Israel is there, they will try to kill Israel, if America is there, they will try to kill America, if nobody is there, they will try to kill eachother. There is definetly somthing fishy going on in the Muslim World. Today almost every problem in the world is caused by them (9/11, suaside bombings everywhere, protest on stupid things, killing of innocent people ect...)

I have seen a number of posters on here complain about terrorism from the Palestinians. Is it not enough that the Palestinians have a RIGHT to fight for their RIGHTS. A right enshrined in the UN charter of which Israel is a signatory. Israel is consigning Palestinians to the dark ages by destruction not only of homes, but infrastructure such as sewage works, schools, offices, industries and farming. Assigning collective guilt to Palestinians is not only morally wrong, but is illegal both domestically and internationally. If the Israeli govt ignores morals, and law then what option is left to a demoralised, oppressed people but to fight back with one of the few methods they have left. Criticism of the Palestinians when Israel indiscriminately murders Palestinians under the veneer of the IDF through rocket attacks on schools, mosques ambulances etc is to show little understanding of what the world expects the Palestinians to accespt. Complete submission over ethnic cleansing, murder, land theft, rights abuses and so on.

Is there something that is wrong with me? or is it something wrong with the world? How can anyone give an organization that is responsible for dozens of innocent people killed in terrorist acts a five star rating. You might not agree with Israel's politics or Army actions, but is that a reason to justify terrorism actions in any form? How can anyone possibly justify killing several dozens of people, including children, by giving bulldozed homes as a reason? Why does every single country has a rule of non-negotiating with terrorists and yet almost all countries except US force Israel to negotiate? Now the fucups out there who put 5 stars. Also to people who cite Jenin Massacre, when watching the news use whatever brain you got to analyze information that is fed to you through the news reports. Who is behind this information? Who is responsible if the information is not correct? When Israeli army says something the spokesperson and Israeli army carries responsibility for its words. Because if they turn out to be false, a scandal ensues. Palestians can say whatever they want in order to advance their goals. News media will pick up equally on both. Jenin Massacre is a media ploy by palestinians. How many people seens the footage of bulldozed homes and angry demonstrators in Jenin on CNN? How many seen a footage of how a palesinian fell from his kasket during a burial proceedings and then got back in (it was in Jenin when palestinians were burying the alleged victims of the massacre) on CNN? Thought so.

I understand why they are fighting, the Israelis have been pretty bad to them and have done some gruesome things, but the suicide bombings are just terrible. Blowing up teenagers at a nightclub wont change anything except make more people turn against you. If they want their own country so bad, they should have agreed in '98, but hopefully soon they'll have a second chance.

At one time Isreal didn't exist. So where did it come from? Palestine of course! Though Arabs and Jews have never really gotten along in the middle east, but during WW2, Palestine took more Jewish refugees then any other country! After the war Truman pressured the British, who were currently occupying Palestine, to force them to accept new refugees. The British handed everything over to the UN to decide. The UN declared that since the jewish holy land was in Palestine, they should cut there country in half. Of course Palestine refused. What happened next was an a horrific act of terrorism Isreal still denies. Zoinists began to uproot the Arab population by force, killing some here and there. The biggest known tragedy is that of Deir Yassin. It was a horrific act of genocide. Every man, woman, and child in the village, were slaughtered. The most common estimate is 254 dead, the whole villiage exterminated. 3/4s of thier country stolen, many live on the outskirts of other Arab countries. They live in rundown slums. Their are even some refugee groups so dirt poor they live in tents. The Yassir Arafat came to power. I have little respect for this man. Though he loves his people he hates Isreal even more. For example, he sided with Iraq instead of Iran. Saddam promised support against Isreal but Iraq contained no refugees. Iran had close to 200,000. All of them were once again uprooted. The Palestinians are even being oppressed by other Arab nations that they have fled to. In many it is illegal to make any new homes in Palestinian slums. This also includes the tent slums! Palestinian tale is a sad one. Does America care? hell no!!!!! Isreal went 20 years before the first suicide bombing. Palestinians waited for some on to help them. When no one came the PLF took charge. I ask you, if the PLF didn't strike at Isreal, would any one have tried to help them? Do you think congress would suddenly feel sorry for them and compensate them for there lost land and family members? If so you are living in a dream world. But don't get me wrong. I don't think Isreali citizens should suffer because of the crimes of thier grandparents. Still neither side will compromise, and both lie to there youth. Isreal tells the world that the Palestinians left of there own free will. Yeah right, they eagerly abandoned there houses to walk 200 miles to a tent camp! The Palestinian propaganda is even more unbelievable. One columnist even accused the Jews of creating aids in a lab as a weapon to be used against them. Only Isreal believes its propaganda and vice versa. Now the 2 are at each others throats. PLF have constant suicide attacks and Isreali's have counter terrorism troops that kill indescriminatly.80% of the victims of counter terror attacks are under 18. For every terrorist killed 10 civilians die. That is because Isreali troops open fire on crowed freeways and in other soft targets. They dont wait for there targets to go to a secluded area, and they don't give a damn about civilains. If some Isreali soldier shoots through a bunch of inoccent bystanders just to kill his mark, he is as big a terrorist as anyone in the PLF. Isreal was founded by terrorism and they need to give something back to the families of the victims. They should compensate them with money or land. Instead they try to repaint history. What is the world supposed to believe? Palestinians are blowing themselves up and living in other country's slums for no reason? Even Ariel Sharon admitted that Palestine got a raw deal. Something should be done and if this is the only way, so be it.

Terrorist group who wants nothing but violence. If they really wanted peace, they would have accepted the 1998 plan in which Palestine would be a free country, Palestine getting 95% of its demands. They didnt accept it then and they wont later- because their terrorists.

Personally, I believe Isreal should be allowed to put down these terrorists the way they deserve. The only way to deal with these people is to utterly knock them senseless.

The palestinians need freedom and they need their own country with part of Jerusalem included. The American created Israeli army can smash the Palestinians in open combat, they can't not fight because its obvious that if they stop fighting then nothing would change, and their only way of gaining the deserved and necessary freedoms that they want is these bombings. While I think killing people is terrible, I don't think Isaeli lives are worth more than Palestinian lives. This method of gaining freedom was originated and used sucessfully by the Irish to finally get rid of 900 years of English oppression. It worked than and I hope to god it works now.
